Screen icon Debbie Reynolds has died at the age of 84. The news comes just one day after her daughter, actress Carrie Fisher, 60, died of a heart attack.

Reynolds was at her and Fisher’s property when she had to be rushed to the hospital for a possible stroke on Wednesday afternoon, PEOPLE confirmed .

It so much surely is, Knightrider. So very muchly so. I am reminiscing about by own mom, who died in '09. I wish so much she were still here to talk about this with. As a young girl, I saw all of Debbie Reynolds' movies, because my mom was such a huge fan of Debbie and Eddie. And I was a Carrie Fisher fan, and we had that in common. I am very much missing my mom tonight, but then I miss her to the point of physical pain every day, it just stings all the more right now.
