I have no doubt that Cooper Rush would have easily been good enough to defeat the 49'ers. Is he good enough to be the Cowboys starter always? I don’t know. But that Dak is the worst quarterback on the team is no longer debatable.
The rest of the team beat the 49'ers, but Dak cost the Cowboys the game. The loss to the Commanders was a warning to the Cowboys, as was the near loss to the Titans. The Cowboys had warnings all season long, but weren't willing to heed them. Even the Lions game was a clear warning.
If Rush isn't who the Cowboys want, then they must find someone else to lead the Cowboys offense.
I wonder at this point how many of the team could be convinced to give their all again with Dak as the starter in 2023.
