The defense did great, Bledsoe is the man, and Parcells is a genius...

Funny thing - if Bledsoe would have completed one of those passes or if Julius would have gotten a block and run in from the three, then that is what most of us would be saying. You know it's true. Sports fans are funny - we've got to be the most reactionary people in the world - responding out of raw emotion.

I agree, I think we have many who live to over react in winning or in losing. It is a long season and a lot of things are going to happen between now and the end of the season

I think the most frustrating thing for me (other than living in the DC area) is that Dallas EASILY should be 3-1 right now (actually, 4-0). The team HAS NOT been manhandled in any game this year. Yet, just as much as they've dug down deep inside themsleves to come up with ways to win, they've done the same exact thing to find ways to lose.

I live in the DC area too and its getting real tough around here with the Foreskins winning. They still SUUUUUUUUUUUCK though. I just hate hearing their mouth:)

I would be saying that we played like the s word and deserved to lose.

My view hasn't changed too much. I am optimistic about the defense and unsure of the offense.

The defense is filled with young guys from top to bottom. Even though they can be somewhat inconsitent there is reason for optimism. I can see them getting better this year and definitley over the next several seasons. It looks promising.

I can't say the same about the offense. They can look good at times, but like the defense is inconsistent. Unlike the defense, they don't have as many young guys. I think they can play better for this season and perhaps next year, but the long haul looks so uncertain.

I disagree. I don't know if we woulda won even what the hell BP is thinking trying to run JJ up the Raiders ***** the whole time with Washington and Sapp both in there. Pretty crappy playcalling if you ask me. Take advantage of JJ's two best traits, speed and elusiveness, and run him some off-tackles, sweeps, etc...

Didn't you notice the Raiders linebackers were up on the line of scrimmage, taking away the outside?

Maybe spread them out and run the draw at the goal line.

:signmast:

Jeez people our OL was getting mauled that is what made the playcalling and running game look so bad.

I disagree. I thought the offense line play and the playing calling was putrid. If we won, yes, I would have been happy, but I still wouldn't have changed my thoughts.

Then run some 3 wide out sets and pass to Witten more to get them to back off a little, then you run some of the same calls that I mentioned. You don't just give up and say, "Ok, the outside is taken away, I guess we'll just try to run our small, quick back up the middle right at two 310 pound run stuffers all day." Think about it man, there's always a way to change what their defense is doing.
