I know I know, they looked poor tackling. They had some lapses. But overall, they played well.

The defense was on the field for 20 minutes. They continually forced turn overs, and got hte offense the ball back.

I guarantee that if we had Romo in there (healthy), we win this game.

I don't know about the Romo thing.

It certainly wouldn't have hurt.

I agree about the defense. We had four TOs that led directly to 21 points.

I wasn't impressed with the Giants. They were about what I thought they'd be.

I'll give the D credit, but alot of the poor play has to do w/ poor fundamentals

trying to tackle guys up high

have the front 7 players ever heard of a spin move? instead of just standing there jumping up and down when the Oline stops you cold, try spinning out? maybe? yes? no?

we're also pretty slow, Hamlin should be a SS, although he's a horrible tackler, but he's not fast enough at FS, our ILBs are slow, esp. Bradie James, he couldn't close in on a sloth, we need defensive, team speed, badly

They played well the first half. After it was clear the game was lost, they gave up and started playing very poorly.

If they had made stops, they wouldn't have spend so much time on the field!

They commit stupid penalties and show no interest in tackling.

One really bad drive in the second half (where they went up 35-14)

Hard to blame them on the first gimme touchdown where Bollinger threw the pick.

We can't stop the Giants run game and their dline overpowered us

They are Super Bowl champs and clearly better than us

the blame for the lack of time of possession should be placed on the offense, not the defense.

what about after our long, TD drive?

it's the same crap every week, our O drives and gets a TD, and the D promptly returns the favor for the opposing team, doesn't matter about TOP, it's just a sloppy, unfocused defense/team

Our O-line was fine in the first quarter or so...eventually they just gave up, as there was no point trying. Leaving Brad Johnson in took the breath out of the team.

Moose said it best right before our game.

It was "talent" vs "team".

The Giants are a better TEAM.

Until we figure it out, we'll just simply be 22 guys running around the field.

If they hold themm to 3 and outs..............the TOP evens out.

If Wade had stayed aggressive, and continued to blitz Eli, we stood a better chance. Once Wade went back to the soft zone and letting the Giants attack, we were dead in the water.

It's a cumulative effect. One td drive doesn't help that much.

it gives them a breather

these are athletes at their physical peak, they don't need 20 minutes to recharge

We had <90 yards of total offense before our one TD drive (something like 5 first downs and one of the first down was a result of the roughing the passer penalty).

It doesn't matter how good your defense is. You cannot win the battle for TOP when your offense cannot sustain drives and are turning the ball over.

QFT Sacamano: Spencer and Co. REFUSE to break down and tackle properly. Teams that don't tackle in practice well, you know the rest.........

Does this team actually practice tackling though? Seriously, do they? I don't think they hit in practice.
