After much fanfare and over the top hype, our resident super star rookies were no where to be seen.
Mazi the vaunted run stuffer, assisted in one takedown.

Deuce will soon appear on the side of milk cartons.
Well since the whole team "was nowhere to be seen" you're expecting this from especially the rookies? Nah, that's the wrong end to look for crap this time.

If anyone remembers the game against Denver back in 21... then we're talking.

and Schoonmaker. unfortunately, Overshown is injured. so that's 4 draft picks doing nothing.

Nice drop by Schoon, not a great pass, a Dak special but it still has to be caught.
We should try Deuce in the redzone. Where is Mazi?

Mazi could turn into a solid player but that's probably his ceiling and it will take a year or two. This isn't Jalen Carter we are talking about. He wasn't even that good in college. But hopefully he contribute more this year than he has.

Lol it's funny they rested Deuce in the 3rd preseason game like he was some superstar, and when I made a thread questioning that decision, a lot of people said "hE wILl gET pLaYiNg tiMe iN tHE ReGular SeAson" lol

If you’re a well-constructed team, rookies should be luxuries. Maybe you get some surprising production from them, but the success of your team shouldn’t depend on them. Do you think the Chiefs and the Bills are relying on rookies to compete/win the Super Bowl? Doubt it. We did lose our CB1 and three starting Pro-Bowl/All-Pro caliber OL, so that could definitely impact our play on the field. But Deuce Vaughn and Mazi Smith are not why we lost to the 0-2 Cardinals. Our CB1 isn’t coming back. Hopefully the defense was an anomaly, because we went from historically dominant to terrible and the only difference was Diggs. But the OL should get healthy so that shouldn’t be a consistent theme this season. It’s one game in a long season.

Shouldve given Luepke more touches inside the 10. He took a 3rd & 1...for 9 yards, and a swing pass for 12.
Rico had a solid game. Ran hard.
