This isn't how any of us wanted it to go. Lackluster effort by the Owner/GM's. I guess we'll have to get over it and embrace the suck.

Martyball- Run, Run, Pass... Run scheme is inside zone or duo/combo blocks. Heavy play action pass attack. Working out of 12 personnel a ton.
De-Flus... Tampa 2 variation, heavy zone scheme. Most blitzing coming from the SLB or Slot DB. LB's need to have coverage skills.

12. T/G Kelvin Banks (6'4, 325) Texas- He can play for Guyton if he doesn't make improvements or he can play RG and would probably excel at it.

44. RB Kaleb Johnson (6'0, 225) Iowa- Ran into a lot of stacked boxes and was still productive. He would be a great fit for what Schotty plans on doing here.

Trade- Browns move up from 94 to 76 and give Dallas picks 94 and 103

94. WR Jack Bech (6'2, 215) TCU- one of the better blocking wideouts in college football. Good contested catch guy. The epidemy of the phrase Dak Friendly.

103T. LB Jackson Woodard (6'3, 230) UNLV- People are sleeping on this kid, he is a very instinctive LB that can play run and pass sets. No subs needed. 135 Tackles top 5 in NCAA, he also had 4 Int's and 12 Passes Defended(top 5). I actually have a 3rd round grade on him, so I am cheating here a bit. Great scheme fit for Eberflus.

150. CB Zah Frazier (6'3, 190) UTSA- good zone corner with ball skills(6 picks this yr). Is a willing tackler but he needs to improve his technique and gain 10-15lbs.

170. DE Jah Joyner (6'5, 265) Minnesota- very physical edge setter. Pass rush is a work in progress. Great length to agitate passing lanes.

172. 3-Tech Darius Alexander (6'4, 310) Toledo- good length and burst. On Feldman's Freaks List(20 MPH GPS), a day 3 pick because he is a 6th year college player.

174. LB Shaun Dolac (6'1, 225) Buffalo- led all of FBS with168 Tackles, also had 5 picks. Isn't the fastest player(4.70) but he makes up for it with instincts. ++ pass Def.

190. Edge Jahfari Harvey (6'4, 255) SMU- led the team in sacks with 7.5. Twitchy but lacks a plan. Good rotation piece with Micah and Williams.

211. 1-Tech Cam Jackson (6'6, 345) Florida- eats up double teams. Gets into passing lanes with his length. 2 down player, stamina is an issue.

Trade- Commanders move up from 238 to 228 and give Dallas picks 238 and 247.

238. TE Jackson Hawes (6'5, 260) Georgia Tech- the best blocking TE in this draft class IMO. Can box out and catch some, but route running and YAC is limited.

247. Slot/FS- Seyi Oladipo (5'11, 205) Boise State- leads FBS in DB sacks with 6.5. Good compliment to JLew or Hancock if either miss time for any reason.

I got no problem at all with your picks. I just think Banks is gone by pick 12 and they will convince themselves Dak"s failings are due to lack of wespons. Jeanty or McMillon are more marketable and fit the bill if they are there.

Agree about Banks but not sure about Jeanty or Tmac. Schotty likes strong running games and ball control. That tells me he would rather have two high-quality RBs or one bell cow in the Murray or Joe Mixon mold ( Johnson or Hampton ). Just me but I don't see a WR at 12 now but man it would be awful hard to pass on Tmac.

I don’t like the idea of OL in the 1st since we’ve spent so many resources there…but if Banks / Campbell are clear cut BPA I’d much rather go that route than a RB.

T Mac wouid be a home run pick at 12 perfect compliment take pressure off of Lamb double teams . He will be gone. I could see Singleton Jeanty RB’s or Burden the WR going to Dallas .

Schottenheimer had top 5 rushing attacks as OC in NY 2009 2010 went to AFCCG with Thomas Jones Shonn Greene and an aging LaDainian Tomlinson in 2010.

RB will high on the grocery list come April and with Eberflus opinion a Jalon Walker or perhaps a Malakai Starks or Bama LB Campbell round one . I can’t see OT again round one but perhaps further down the draft .

Is this the only team in the league that can’t function without 3 or more 1st round picks on the Oline while simultaneously failing to function in the interior of the Dline!

I like many of the picks, but trade down from 76 to 94? There's a lot of quality players off the board in those 18 picks, and only getting the 103rd pick in exchange.

I don't really want OL in the first again either. These are just hypotheticals.
If I had to argue for another O-Lineman in round 1, I would start with Dak's health. He is seemingly injured every year now and his mobility has exponentially fallen every year. When you have a statue standing back there, one that cost 60m dollars you might want to protect it.

The Eagles aren't complaining about having too many good O-lineman neither are the Lions.
It's a boring pick, but it wouldn't necessarily be a bad pick.

Penn State's Singleton is going back to school same with his running mate Allen.

Good draft. I take it many ppl haven't studied Bech because if they had there would be a lot more buzz to draft him, I think he's a perfect WR2 for this team.

Great work as always. Always appreciate your efforts. I think we gotta starting thinking off ball LB somewhere in the top 45 whth Eberflus.

I like the idea of Banks. Prefer him to be an OT. Id play him inside if Smith is your OT

Im this scenario, Id prefer front 7 to skill at that 44 pick. I think we can get a bell cow HB in the 3rd
