I am sure many of you watched this game. The fact that we lost to BOTH of these teams is reason enough for us to start preparing for the draft.

We already know we get everyones best shot...but it is unbelievable how well people perform when they play us! Or are we just THAT bad? I know we are not nearly as good as Jerry thinks we are (500 different coaches can coach the Cowboys) But we do not get turnovers... we commit turnovers. Balls do not bounce our way. We get double digit penalties...the most penalty yards anyone has against us this year is 45 yards. We cannot return punts...we cannot return kicks. We cannot cover punts, we cannot cover kicks. When the opposition forces a turnover against us, our defense doesn't get us the ball right back or force FGs. We are really bad. Much worse than our STATS suggest we are. We are NOT a team. Having said all of that..we are 2 games back in the loss column. But that will not matter...because I do not TRUST this team to fight like they are only 2 games back. Let this team APPEAR to be staring at 6 or 7 losses...and they will mail it in to the tune of 5-11. That is the very definition of FRAUD. That is the very definition of front runners. The very definition of reading your own press clippings, believing your own hype and just happy to be wearing the star playing in the best stadium in the world.

Sorry for the rant..but I am just disgusted to be sitting at 1-4 when I am watching some of the worst football the NFC has produced in years.

Its going to happen bud. I think the expectation was to much and the laziness of the media to really understand the scope of what Dallas was going to do. I called last year we had problems, we didnt address them correctly, this is what happens when you allow problems to go from year to year to year.

This is the first year i am on the "jerry has to step away" bandwagon I will admit that.

Skins are stubborn and opportunistic. That's how we beat you. Your team is undisciplined and poorly coached.

Stubborn/opportunistic >>> undisciplined/poorly coached.

1-5.

Cowboys aren't a good team. Really, I don't see the talent. Dez looks good, but all this talent talk through the media? Thats just more hype from the machine. Hm, I just heard on ESPN they are still saying theres hope for the Cowboys cause the Bengals in 1970 made the playoffs at 1-5. Haha!! Please, Dallas blows and they need to revamp that entire organization top to bottom. Wayyyyyy to many players on that team think they are good cause they have a star on their helmet. You lose to the Commanders because the Skins are a better team. (keyword)

The start for your rebuild will happen when you come to the realization that you are not a talented team. Being stacked at the WR and RB position (even though all 3 RB's are mediocre at best) doesn't mean you have a team bursting with talent.

Last year I might have disagreed. I don't think that is the case any longer.

Felix can be a play maker, but as the guy who has featured this year, he hasn't done that much to wow anyone.

Barber has been useless over the last 2 seasons.

And an unproven guy like Choice doesn't help the situation.

The team lacks depth at CB (Scandrick is terrible). The safeties are pretty mediocre. Spencer showed some flashes, but he's been largely invisible this year.

To everyone who thought we'd not miss Flozell, you're having a laugh. Free had a good game against Peppers, but was simply man handled this past week.

Sometimes it's easy to get caught into your own hype. I don't think your team lacks talent. A good amount of guys who are key contributors for any winning squad.

But where you don't have quality talent, you have some awful players. Most notably the safeties, the cornerback depth (whoever the nickle back is, he sucks really really bad), D-line besides Jay Ratliff, never see Olshanksky or Spears do anything worth while. In a pass heavy league, it's tough to defend when your corners and safeties can't cover worth crap.

The turn around process will start for you guys when Jerry realizes that it's not only the coaching staff, but also the holes on the team. That starts with the realization that he's actually not that good of a GM. I'm not sure if Jones is capable of that or not. We are talking about a giant ego. In Snyder's case it was easy because he's actually never won crap so deep down inside he knew he was a loser. Jones has a winning pedigree that he just can't forget or get over.
