Assuming what we've seen in terms of who are good teams in week 1 holds relatively stable, we really only have 2-3 good teams to play the entire second half of the season. Eagles twice, Texans, and Bengals or Bucs could be decent (though the Bengals looked rough Sunday). I don't think I can remember a year where the schedule is this front-loaded. Usually we start by beating up on bad teams and get big heads and then have some difficult stretches against good teams in late November into December where we start wavering, then get a nice cakewalk against Washington to end the season.

I wonder if playing the playoff teams this early in the season will be a help or hinderance? Will it let us know what we are up against so we don't get big heads and stay hungry? Will playing some of the weaker teams towards the end allow for more rest and for players like Micah to stay fresh for the playoffs so he doesn't turn into a pumpkin in January? I'm glad we at least have TB and Philly in the last 3 games to keep us on track for the playoffs. Probably overthinking this but I can't remember a schedule like this in quite some time.

We'll probably beat the good teams early and then get big heads and then lose to bad teams like Washington and Carolina later. :muttley:
