The coaching staff is really coming together. Brian Shotttenheimer is the new Bill Belichick. There is no question that he has the pedigree, the experience, the leadership and fire in his belly.

Matt Eberflus is a genius defensive coordinator. He has already made three terrific hires.

We don't have an offensive coordinator, but do we need one? Jerry Jones can save a few dollars by letting Shotty do both the HC and OC jobs. Oh, he may need someone to call the plays. I say Stephen is not only an expert on capology but also an offensive genius. He should call every play but he would need to run each play by Jerry who is the mastermind of all this good football. He has said he would make a great coach, he just doesn't want to work that hard. In this scenario, it would only require him to nod in agreement or put his thumb down if Stephen calls a play Dad disagrees with. Dad may need to single his play of choice. It's kind of like a pitcher does with a catcher. He would put his thumb down until Stephen gets the right call. Now, you nay-sayers might think this is not an efficient process, but hear me out. Football has too many Xs and Os. It really should be just like baseball where the catcher and pitcher have to agree on one of four or six pitches. I suggest they have a system that starts with a number 1 if it is a pass play and 2 if it is a run. The play would be called 1 and a second letter for whether it is going R (right) or L (left) or M (up the middle) That way there would only be 6 options, 1R, 1L, 1M, 2R, 2L or 2M. This will help our QB who needs simplification. A, he does not need to remember those complicated combinations of plays and he is free to look only in one direction before passing the ball. Oh, he does that now? Well that only shows it is the correct way and this system will be perfected by someone who already practices the essential let's stare our intended receiver down.

This avoids the need for blocking assignments, route running or any kind of that sort of confusion. 1R, Dak throws to whomever gets open on the right side of the field. 2M, Dak hands the ball to whoever is the running back and he runs up the gut.

See how things are shaping up for a great campaign in 2025?

Right now, the franchise has saved many millions of dollars by hiring a coach that no other team wanted or even interviewed. Giving him extra duty saves many more millions because you do not need a pesky OC who just confuses the offensive players.

Now we come to the best part. We don't spend any money chasing free agents who are not needed because we like "our guys". Bring Zeke back for 2 more years. With all the rest he got this year, he will be a beast next year. We also should trade all of our draft picks and save money not employing the services of bad picks. We thus would avoid drafting lousy players like Mazi and injury-prone players like Overshown.

See we learn from our mistakes, we do not repeat them. Never!!!!

Oh, and let's fire the fitness, and strength coach. It is now obvious from last season that having that position filled only led to injury disasters all across the team. Let the players be responsible for their own darn fitness and strength. o

What do we do with all the money we save, you ask? Well here is a thought. We spend it on new drapes at the west side of Jerry World stadium. Now we install these new drapes but do not mess with tradition. We never use the drapes to shield the players' eyes from the sun. We all know that is a big advantage to our Cowboys. They know which side of the field to choose. No matter that the teams change sides of the field every quarter. We have that advantage even if the sun glare hits CeeDee square in the face.

Our management is on top of every issue. Our future is bright again. We will win quickly and break the """"""thirty year drought"""""""

Now you're getting it...complaining didn't fix the last 30 years, complaining won't fix next year....if you're gonna stick around, may as well wait and see. Besides, even if we win the SB, there will always be something to complain about. Win/Win!!

OT - Tyron Smith

Re-signing Tyron Smith after year away with the New York Jets makes sense for the Cowboys. After watching both Tyler Guyton and Terence Steele struggle last season, Smith could help stabilize the OT position in 2025. He's still a capable starter and would be an ideal swing tackle or potential starter if Guyton or Steele continue to struggle next season.

This is called setting the new staff up for successes...

Sounds like someone needs to put on some Bob Marley, crack open a bottle of Blanton's, and take a break from all things Cowboys for a while.

All he needs is a QB that marries a super model that makes more money than him and allows him to take less money.

It's refreshing to hear that someone is so optimistic about our chances for success in the upcoming year. Let's hope things work out for us as well as what newfound hopes and expectations include. Going into a new year with some semblance of optimism would be a very welcomed change.

I'll post on your perspective in a short period of time in the future. Not today.
