The game will be close; and then it'll start; and by the time it's over, Dallas will have won it handily. I honestly believe this. I don't think this Dallas team has peaked yet, but it'll be closer to it as they play through Sunday night.

I forsee Dallas turning on some afterburners against the Saints just to create some separation in the NFC.

I'm thinking a score along the lines of 31-21. It will be close enough to keep you watching, but not anything like last week

we are saving the afterburners for when we go into chicago and beat the living day lights out of them. we will have a flash back of 2 years ago thanks giving where jj ran all over the bears sorry arse defense

You assume that the Bears will win their first playoff game, and that we will get the 2nd seed. I'm confident in our ability to get the 2nd seed, but I'm not so confident in Chicago winning a playoff game.

The NFC may wind up going through Dallas. Sunday's game is huge.

I suspect it will be closer than you guys do, parcells won't run the score up on one of his former assistants

It's what I'm sayin', this is a preview of the NFC Championship and Dallas is a head better than New Orleans, it rocks!

If we play anything like we did vs the Colts it won't be close.

35 or so points isn't running it up.

yeah, i think the bears win, someone from NFCwest has to go right?

Romo got his bad game out of the way, he understands pressure now, he will come out and completely demoralize the stanks.

I can see the Seahawks beating the Bears. The Bears' run defense has been suspect past few weeks. I can see Alexander having a big game against them.

Payton is too good to not get as much as you can.... Until you have a three score lead, you don't let off, and even then....

Depending on the time of the game, a big lead may lead to longer, slower drives, but if they can't stop you...

(Extra Ellipses added in honour of Silverbear)

Exactly. NO has too good an offense to back off before the last half of the 4th qtr. I think it will be a 10-14 point game anyway. That amount isn't safe until the very end.

I agree with this. I think it will be close at the half, and we will get a turnover that starts the beat down in the second half. So, for the betting public I would take the Saints in the first half, and the Boys for the game, BIG!
