-The Good
Hmmmmmm let me see....
*Brandon Aubrey is awesome
*CD is a one man show on offense
-The Bad
Ummmmm you saw the game
*The Cowboys are still a between the 20's team and they kick way too many field goals
*The pick that happened right after the pick
*The running back by committee never works
*Dak why are you throwing the ball to a covered Span Ford on fourth down
*Brooks falling down killed any chance at a comeback
*How do the officials miss such a blatant facemask on Dowdell
*Dak's lack of arm strength really hurts the offense he can't throw deep
*Stop forcing the ball to Lamb they know it's coming
*Can't forget, my prediction I had the Cowboys winning by 3
-The Ugly (and there is a ton of it)
*TD, TD, TD, TD, TD, TD, TD, TD, TD, TD, TD, TD, TD, TD, TD by the Saints did I miss one?
*The Cowboys' defense got absolutely shredded
*That game not only reminded me of last year's game against the Packers but also the game where the Saints got 40 first downs when Brees was the QB
*The Cowboys' defensive line was totally invisible and that will be the story all year long, they'll either dominate or disappear from week to week
*Why did it take the Cowboys 3 series to play Overshown and Zeke I thought both guys got hurt before the game and weren't playing
*Folks Fool's gold is in full effect and the Cowboys will be inconsistent all year long
-Next Week
*Expect more of the same when they play the Ravens, Jackson will run around and chuck it deep to open up the offense and that's when the Ravens running game with Henry and Hill will take over.

This seems to cover all the bases pretty well. I do think they need to end the RB by committee nonsense and go with 2 backs. Zeke and Dowdle, but that isn't much of a choice is it? I think Deuce is a distraction. Maybe give Cook a try and see how he does. Maybe the RB rotation is Zeke and Cook. The problem is they stuck themselves with slim pickings. Not drafting a RB was such a monumental mistake.

Dak's 2nd INT was his fault but at the point I think it was 90% frustration and desperation. The 4th down throw to the Spann-Ford was stupid. But I don't know what other options he had at that point. We need another WRs who can get open more consistently. Brooks and Tolbert are not the answer.

we are going to struggle inside the redzone all year because we have no respectable running game. teams are just going to drop 6, 7 into a tight space and take away passing lanes. unless our running game somehow gets better, we will be a between the 20s type of team.

Lamb I guess, but Dak has to stop forcing it to him, yes dak's arm strength is a HUGE issue!!!!!!!! I wonder how many touchdowns or extra yards we could get if he throws the ball a bit better, it's like every deep ball Dak throws is a 50/50 ball lol

that's why we brought back the one and only Zeke, so now when we get there we can throw a 2 yard pass to the flats to him after him getting stuffed, 3rd down will be a sack, bring out aubrey

The single game rushing record was recorded by Adrian Peterson on 11-04-2007 - 296 yards. There's a chance Henry beats that record. The only way it doesn't happen is if the offense somehow finds a way to keep the ball longer, but there's no faith in the offense getting the job done.

What would be really funny about all this? Should Henry break this record or come close, at the end of the game he lifts his jersey to reveal a t-shirt that reads "Jerry, you see what you had no interest in going after? Zeke is better than this?"

Should be an interesting matchup for next week. Baltimore has some flaws on offense the Cowboys should be able to exploit. That OL has some new faces this year and I'm not sure its an upgrade. Their WRs are also pretty mediocre all around. Itll be interesting to see how much trust the Cowboys put in the rookie Carson now that he isnt going to get matched up against a top WR like Olave. They may look to play these WRs aggressive on the outside and commit more resources to the box. I could see a lot of bear fronts and a lot of snaps for Overshown to spy Lamar.

Defensively is what really concerns me about Baltimore. They have some really good players on that side of the football and their style matches up well with what the Cowboys do. They have some massive human beings up front which will make for an interesting power v power matchup in the run game, plus they have one of the best backers in football in Roquan Smith. Odafe Oweh is one of the best players in football that no one knows about and should be another tough matchup for the rookie Guyton. They also have a pair of really good safeties in Marcus Williams and Kyle Hamilton. Its just a really good defense with solid players at all three levels which makes it tough to game plan for. I dont see a whole lot of areas to exploit.

I feel like they are giving Deuce some carries early in the season to see if he deserves to stay on the team. If he remains largely ineffectual then I expect Cook to be elevated and Deuce to get cut within a few weeks. And I'll bet he gets picked up on waivers by someone if that happens.
