The good, the bad the Ugly, and next week

-The Good
*Oh look Aubrey makes the list again making another 57 yard bomb
*Gotta give CD credit at least he grinded out an injury
*Overshown makes plays on defense
*Rush made a lot of good throws especially the one that was dropped in the endzone by Lamb
*Like I say every week, the Cowboys are looking at a top 5 draft pick
*Pitts was a non factor for some reason
*Great catch by Dowdle on a horrible throw by Prescott for a TD
*No turnovers at least
-The Bad
*3 for 17 on third and fourth downs
*CD getting hurt
*The Falcons had a total of 7 sacks coming into today's game but they were all over Prescott all day
*Turpin can you stay in bounds on the return and also stay on your feet, stop thinking that you're gonna get hit every time you catch a football
*The Cowboys had no runs over 15 yards coming into todays game, how is that even possible
*Can we at least get a trainer to give Lamb a massage or something on that shoulder
*I called the fake punt but the outcome was awful of course
-The Ugly
*The Cowboys are pitiful, disgusting, and an embarrassing football team
*No attention to detail from week to week
*Bad teams are dumb teams, the Cowboys once again with a bunch of pathetic penalties
*Mike McCarthy is really a bad coach and he's on his way out, it's only a matter of time

*The Cowboys are home against the Eagles who are playing decent and the Cowboys are not anyone wanna bet the Cowboys play uninspired football

the coaches have quit. I have been saying it for 3 weeks now. they are all going through the motions. they know this team has no talent to compete and they are all in the last year of their contracts and at their best this was a 8-9 team, and they would get all of the blame from Jerry. so they quit. its snow balling now.

Appreciate the post CoachD. However, we are the epitome of what constitutes mediocre in the NFL. This is how you do it:
  • Win enough games in the regular season to get in the playoffs
  • Tank in the playoffs (so no Super Bowl and a crappy draft pick to boot)
  • Ignore filling in pieces through free agency because you believe you can build through the draft. Except you forget every year that you don't have any premium picks, and refuse to trade up.
  • Refuse to trade for anyone of value believing you can ignore difference-makers for has-beens, picking up multiple vet-minimum bottom feeders to fill out the roster (so you can say you tried to fill the holes).
  • Rinse and repeat.

Parsons will come back and somehow we will put a string of wins together. Even if we can't make the playoffs (won't happen this year), we'll play our butts off to win one or two meaningless division games at the end of the season just to drop 8 draft slots. It is the Cowboy way...

How was that a horrible throw to Dowdle??? He was the one who lost the ball and got back. Did you see the pressure that Dak had to elude to even get that pass off?? I guess not.

The only way I will ever get excited about the Dallas Cowboys again is if Jerry steps down as GM. Other than that what’s the point?

I hope that we at least get the 8 spot in the draft. 7 would be even better. Drafting high makes those 2nd and 3rd round picks better as well.

right now I am so pessimistic that we will probably end up with a 12 pick or worse
and then we use it on a injured player

I have hardly drunk at all for some years but I got the Southern Comfort out after the Saints Game and then the Lions game.
I am too depressed to drink now

Dont see a Top 5 pick, currently the Cowboys are #13th in the draft order.....gonna be hard to get a top 10 draft pick with 19 of 32 NFL teams under 500 and with a losing record. The NFL and the Cowboys have put a terrible product on the field this year... so many horrible games in the NFL/Teams..... Thank you Jerry Jones and Roger Goodell

The Cowboys are joining a dog pile of horrible teams and still will be lucky to be picking in the top 5 .

They just can’t win when they lose. We knew this was going to be a lost season, but apparently not enough. The Dak and CD contracts still irk me.

The Cowboys are currently in the 11 spot and could easily get to 8.
