In the 80's, I saw the Von Erichs wrestle many times, at the Sportatorium, at Reunion Arena, at Texas Stadium, and around DFW.

I remember most fondly their rivalry with The Freebirds.

Sort of related, but enjoyed watching the now bankrupt Vice documentary series The Dark Side of the Ring. Von Erichs were in season 1. What a sad story. Only one brother left. Everything from Macho Man Savage to Owen Hart to JYD to Chris Benoit to Ultimate Warrior. Unreal how so many wrestlers personal lives are just as crazy as the ring antics.
