The Niners are the best team we have faced all year. I have been watching a lot of them this week and one thing is very apparent. Their entire philosophy is based on RAC and YAC. They will destroy you if you dont wrap them up. I really hope the entire week of practice has been tackling because if we come out and miss tackles this game will be over very quickly.

Wrap them up, knock them off their routes, and be aggressive with them. Do not let them get into a rhythm and we have a legitimate chance at winning his game and going to our first NFCCG since 1996. Obviously we need our offense to score points but if they come out and score and we can get the Niners chasing the game. We are in good shape.

Just stop those rb's. Then they can get after that young qb. Im not too confident we can do that. ~ sigh

I think our tampa gameplan worked very nicely, play the quick passing game tight and pressure the qb. All depends on how we stop the run with our front 4. Last year i thought we did ok against the pass (deebo and kittle didnt do much against us in the passing game), but against the run we got gashed. They avg'd 4.5 against us. Their blocking schemes are second to none, rewatching that first drive against us last year and they created highway lanes against us, hopefully DQ has an answer.
But we arent facin Jimmy G again, i think Purdy will take some shots against us and will be harder to get to, hoping he hits his rookie wall against us though, we will be his toughest fight. We got seemingly no pressure last year, i hope we correct that.

I do think the eagles are the best team weve faced, and were it not for Cooper Rushs really off night, i think we wouldve won that one too, so if the cowboys show up like last night, i think absolutely stun the 49ers at home.

We lost 23-17 to the Niners last playoffs with 14 penalties.
I think without the refs cheating us, San Fran is in trouble.
I finally had the stomach to rewatch a lot of that game when they showed it last night.

We didn’t get beat on the lines as bad I had I thought on the first watch.

Thought the play calling was a little stale and predictable, but that’s par for the course with Moore.

Some very near misses on offense. Way too much Elliott as well.

Anyway that loss was more about execution than getting smacked around, so I feel a little more confident.

Agreed on the RAC and YAC.

I'd be VERY cautious trying to match personnel going man-on-man against these guys up all game. They look for individual matchups, create leverage with motion and misdirection. One missed tackle and they are off to the races.

Whatever strategy Quinn thinks takes away the huge gains via YAC/RAC, I believe that's what he will do. I think that could be more zone than normal, but we'll see.

The biggest key in that game was SF got out to the early 13-0 lead after essentially 1 quarter. From that point on, they could comfortably ride their defense and running game through the finish line. That's why I think it's so important for Dallas to have a good start and get to halftime with SF either playing from behind or in a tight game.

Defense......Minimizing YAC and rattling Purdy with pressure, coverages and assignment discipline. Offense.....just move the chains, minimize pre-snap penalties, minimize TOs, no drops.

LOL........ Dallas was guilty of every one of those penalties. Clean THAT up and they stand a chance.

The key to winning is simple... same as TB. Stop their run and/or limit it. Make the rookie QB make a play and then disguise your coverage.

We played sloppy for sure and deserved the majority of those, however two referee blunders stood out to me one after we were trying to run a play on 4th down after trying to draw 49ers off sides we were at the 36, play clock ticking down and the ref stood over the ball for a unordinary amount of time causing a delay of game on us and a FG instead of a possible first down, the other referee oddity came at the very end of the game with almost the same type of shenananigans.

I’ll see your theory and I’ll raise you Diggs

Can’t tackle
Can’t wrap up
