I don't think we've actually catalogued how badly Jerry has mismanaged the team despite overall good luck with injuries, pretty good drafts overall and a weak division.

1. The fork in the road: Garrett's schtick had gotten stale and the job was open. He gets suckered by MM telling him how desperately he needs football, he watched all of the prior seasons plays (lies) and he was adjusting his style while getting advice from...Mike Nolan.

Side Note: I'm no Garrett fan...but it seems to me that MM took over Garrett's players in the same way that Wade took over Parcells players. And now that we have a full stock of McCarthy coached players...it looks like his last year in Green Bay.

2. No defensive tackles: Since we got ran over in the playoff game against the Rams, we basically have had shoddy DT play and have done nothing about. This is akin to having a bad center and "living with it". You can't.

3. The 2nd fork in the road: We got trounced by GB. Bunch of good coaches on the market and you don't believe in the QB. You said you were "all in". OK, so you decide to run it back after that complete choke job by the coach and QB? Everything was set up for a Cowboys run ...and we got BLOWED OUT (shoutout to Emmitt). And you think everyone is going to work real hard to get back there with a lame duck head coach? Doomed from the start.

4. The stadium: I know we had stupid home field advantage last year but...that stadium is a strip club that serves beer with some football. The design, the extravagant facilities, the spaces begging for portraits of Jerry...the freaking AI Jerry...all of it...is about entertainment not war paint on Sundays.

5. The GM thing: Jerry doesn't watch film...he evaluates the people around him and tries to decide if they are telling the truth...about personnel decisions!!! 'nuff said.

6. Derrick Henry: Malpractice. I would take credit for this, but who can't? He LEADS THE LEAGUE IN RUSHING, BEGGED TO COME TO DALLAS AND WE NEVER EVEN CALLED. And then Jerry told us a lie and said we couldn't afford him. During the offseason...Jerry was on the yacht with his family...the contracts and Henry can wait.

7. Micah's "Condition": He saw the circus and decided to join. Give me TJ Watt. Give me 2 1sts and a bucket of spit and he's yours.

8. You resigned Dak: OK, fine...who knows what Dak would develop into, right? But now he's fully developed...and the polaroid is ugly. Most of us understand that Jerry didn't believe in him...so why do it? Forced by Stephen? The "bottom line"? Who knows...but you just paid top dollar for something you don't like. That'll make you start cussing out random people on the radio.

9. Dak contract negotiations: Dak has more leverage over Jerry than any other QB in football history. A personal defeat that we all have to suffer. Even if you like Dak...we are paying him tons more money due to delays, disrespect and mismanagement.

10. He fired Jimmy: As long as Jimmy is alive, he should have been the coach. Even if he didn't fire him, he claims he did. Never. Forget.

In the infamous 105.3 interview, Jerry basically said that if you were to discuss all of the bad decisions Jerry's made, that it would take 5 years to go over them all, and that Jerry doesn't have time for that...

Letting Sean Payton and Dan Campbell pass through this organization without hiring either as Head Coach
Jerry would have handcuffed both of them and they would have had to prove they deserved a second chance after flaming out here. Maybe Payton would have stood a chance because Jerry and Stephen had not yet settled into this FA philosophy, but they have been too involved in personnel decisions for every coach not names Jimmy Johnson or Bill Parcells.

We had gotten much more set on our no expensive free agents philosophy before McCarthy took over and took it to a new level this year. It's easy to say we have a full stock of McCarthy-coached players but there's a big difference in coaching quality players and coaching those who are starting only because we don't have anyone better.

For example, I don't know if the RB plan was something McCarthy wanted or something he had to accept. For what it's worth, I don't think McCarthy is a personnel man, so I don't think he'd put up a fight on personnel decisions. And I don't think McClay has the chops to try to try to override the Joneses' philosophy, so he and his staff are searching the garbage bins for players no other team really wants.

Don't forget about the Special Teams Draft where Jerry invented a brand new position - the Cold Weather Kicker.

He also said that they had to go over the "good" as well ...or else...
