What? That requires that the ball be kicked over 70 yards on a line with a rush coming. I'm surprised there have been as many as there has. Hell a lot of kickers can't kick the ball that far even without trying to get it through..

I actually can't believe Maher has been so good, since we had such a clown show going on at kicker in camp.

I'm pretty sure the team ran off Garibay, so thankfully Maher was able to step up.

So true. To have a ball go through an 18 ft gap 10 ft high at 60+ yards out is tough to do. Add in a defense who makes you kick the ball up instead of straight and it's a special accomplishment. For years teams wouldn't even try 60+ yarders.

YouTube has killed the appreciation for quality kickers. There are a lot of guys who can throw up videos of them making 60-70 yard kicks routinely, but with no rush it's a different challenge altogether.

70 yards? It is 60.
