I love my cowboys, but IMHO, right now SF is the most compelete team in the NFL, understanding there is no perfect team (specially with the cap). IMHO right now the following two teams are toughest to beat. SF being at the top. they are tough, physical, have the skilled players on offense and defense and play with an attitude. they are tough tough tough at home.

  • SF - they are physical on defense, can rush the passer and stop the run, which makes the opposing team one dimentional and easier to defend. their offense can run and pass as effectively and McCaffrey is tough to control, who is key to their offense
  • Ravens - They are also very physical on defense, as they have always been. they can run the ball very effectively, which helps them compensate for lack of true recieving threats. Ravens and Niners are top two rushing teams.
Both teams have great coaching.

Then there is a whole lot of rest of them in the second group.

  • Miami - Miami defense is top 10, both in pass and run defense. of course their offense is second in points only to the cowboys. another dangerous team that can catch fire on anyone. the knock on them is similar to cowboys as they have accumulated their record against weaker opponents.
  • Cowboys. We are good offensively. got the weapons. deep. wish we were better running the ball. but defense is very up and down. give me the uneasy feeling on the edge of my seat all the time. they are middle of the pack in rush defense, but top 5 in pass defense, with great emphasis on pass rush. the defense is suspect to QBs who can run. they are dangerous at this point because of their offense and have shown the ability to just catch fire.
  • Lions - they are dangerous both offensively and defensively. their offense is balanced both in run and pass. they can catch fire on anyone. they have good run defense but suspect pass defense. they have been up and down at times, so if you catch them when they are hot. good luck
  • Chiefs - seem to be struggling this year, losing close games, but I put them here because of their coach, their experience and patrick mahomes. if there is one game to win and a must win, then having Mahomes makes all the difference. good offense. good pass defense. suspect run defense.

Then there is the rest of them. unless one of them catches fire, can't see any of them really advancing far.

I didn't put the eagles there despite the record, as they remind me of Vikings of the past. they are pulling off close games. odds eventually catch up. they have been exposed a little bit and their defense isn't really that good. stop hurts from running and you can control this team.

You can't build a "complete" team in the salary cap NFL of today.

A complete team would have a functional backup at every position that can at least hold their own. Many teams can only afford undrafted and inexperienced free agents at a few spots and then hope they never have to use them.

Eagles and Detroit are about the same. Really good record, with pretty small point differential. Like Minnesota last year.

Ravens could compete with San Fran if they have Andrews, otherwise I don't think the win the AFC Championship. Lamar can suck as a passer and then somehow shine on the next series. Miami needs to be playing at home or they will fold. Chiefs just don't have enough weapons but Mahommes could somehow pull it off.

I should have stated it as "as complete as it can get"

SF is beatable, just like every other team. You have to get their ball carriers to ground on first contact, otherwise they will boot stomp you.
there has ever been one team that didn't lose a game in a season. so yeah, every team is beatable

..our defense is fast, which could pay off BIG in post season. And can rush the passer, create pressure.
They are only getting better as we move forward.
Coaching for us will be huge in playoffs.
That's where games are lost n won.

San Fran is good, because of their coaching getting players in right positions.

Probably the same with Ravens and Det.
