I see our fans already getting their excuses ready about how the team is already getting their excuses ready. That way, they get to win even if we lose.

How sad. Truly pathetic.

As cliche' as it may sound, the truth is, nobody has a crystal ball: any given Sunday.

Anyway, the fans already predicting a loss are dominated by fear. But fear isn't rational.

Today, we face the so-called fastest team in NFL history.

Can we beat the Fins? I think we can. I'm not going out on a limb and predicting a blow out. But I suspect this team will be dialed in and we'll see a different Cowboys team on the road today.

Is it possible we dominate today like we dominated the Giants at their stadium? It's possible, but it's more likely to be a close game.

I expect a big game from Parsons, DLaw and . . . DaRon Bland. This team is different than last year, whether or not you're stuck in last year.

If the team takes one thing into this game, I'd like it to be "mindset is everything."

It doesn't matter where you play. It really comes down to mindset. You can't make yourself faster than Tyreek Hill, although Parsons did beat him in a race. We don't have any control over how fast Devon Achane is. But we can go into the game with the mindset that we're going to stay focused and stop him.

We need to be ready to adjust, adapt, and come out with the mindset that we. will. win. this. game.

That is all. Merry Christmas Eve.

I agree and this is just about gap integrity do your own job don't be the hero no hero ball on defense literally stay in your lanes whatever you were told to do do it on those plays if somebody else doesn't do their job that's fine but don't go trying to run across the field and do something where you weren't supposed to and then they cut back and now there's a big lane stay in your gaps stay in your assignments that's why they were leaping and reaching at feet and stuff last week there were at least 12 missed tackles but I heard somebody counted up to 17...

In a lot of cases that's just simply trying to do more than your job.. When you have a fast team like this you cannot miss tackles it's better to let them catch the football than tackle them then they undercut them or take a bad angle trying to make a big play yes they're on bland and back when Trayvon diggs was playing that's what they do sometimes they gamble we don't need gambling we need solid football so if they get a catch on you that's fine just tackle them in that spot....

Make them earn every inch on that grass, tackle well, and execute the gameplan today, that will get you a win in many games....

I see a Dallas L today. But I’m not “doom and gloom” or a “sky is falling” guy either.

And it’s not about “lining up excuses” or “reacting in fear” lol… I’m a grown *** man and there are WAY more important things going on than to let a sports team effect my emotional life lol

In looking at this matchup, in Miami, there are factors that favor the Dolphins. If that upsets some sensitive fans— so be it. I am not trying to offend you— just sharing my thoughts on the game today.

I hope Dak and Dallas come out ballin’ and prove me wrong. As always— I will be happy to eat crow.

I want to see how they respond to the showing last week, and if they come out swinging and pissing vinegar, whether they win or lose, it will be a big step forward.

It will be so funny and awesome if the Cowboys win out and get the number 1 spot.

Juat want to see a 3 game win streak to end the season - bounce back today, take care of the lions at home, then win the division in Washington.

Philly is going to lose one to the giants, time for the cowboys to get busy winning or get ready for an early playoff exit.

If it doesn't start today then it's not going to start in January

Honestly I just don’t see how the.Cowboys can win this game. It is a horrible matchup similar to the Niners.

Just think if that happens and the 49ers lose to the Ravens and the Rams.

I'm concerned about our offense with O-line injuries, but I think the D got embarrassed last week and they step up today, I'm looking for a low scoring dog fight and a Cowboys W.

It will.

The thing is, it's possible. Our fans should be happy. No team has secured the 1 spot yet.

The fact we're still in the mix for it is a testament to this team.

Any other year, we're lucky to get any seeding. Somehow, everyone knows how this team is a failure before the games are played.

Again, mindset. I hope they're ready. I believe they will be. Should be a good game. This team hasn't lost two in a row in a good while. So I at least expect a fight. No dear in the headlights McCarthy. I think we'll see him Swaggering around the sidelines by the 4th quarter. At least that's my hope. We've got speed on this team, too. Pollard, Cooks, Turpin, etc.
It'll be important for us to get those guys involved and open it up, spread the ball around, handoff, pitch, toss, and most importantly motion, motion, motion.

Of course, we need to limit penalties. But we're the Cowboys and the refs just can't help themselves. So, just control what we can control.

The Dolphins haven't really beaten any top teams yet. I think they're a good team. But for me to believe they're better than us, they're going to have to have to do more than they've done.

Sure, don't forget, we have speed too. Turpin, Cooks, Pollard, all fast last time I checked.

What I'm really saying is we have the ability to create mismatches too. So, yeah, it may come down to that. I just don't see it as lop-sided as you.
