Dallas is 0-7 against Tom Brady
Dallas is 0-8 in road playoff games since 1992
Dallas is 1-4 on grass this season
Since 1970, six teams have won their division with a .500 record or worse, and those teams are 4-2 in the wildcard round

But even with all that against us, I see us beating the Bucs pretty easy, that's how bad their offense has been this season.

If our defense was playing better I’d be more confident. But I fully expect Brady to put up at least 30 points. And with how anemic our offense looks on grass fields, no way we outscore them.

Not sure any of that really matters. Brady and that team is a complete shell of what it was even week 1 of this year. Stats that we have to go back to the 90s or the 70s for I could really care less about.

The Cowboys should be able to handle Tampa, and if they can't then I really won't feel too bad because they would be exposed as complete pretenders anyways. At least a loss this round would encourage Jerry to clean house and make the offseason interesting.

This team has zero excuses if they are one and done. My only true fear around this game is that Tampa is basically playing with house money. That always makes a team dangerous. If the Cowboys come ready to play though they win by two scores.

We are regressing mightily, which Is an ominous sign entering the playoffs.

I expect a loss but hope the game is at least competitive and entertaining.

I am usually pretty optimistic but I have no confidence in this team facing TB. And that was regardless of recency biased posts flooding the forum right now.

I assume we will have to wear blue.

Other than the 1978 NFC Championship Game, I don’t recall a playoff win in blue in franchise history.

Older guys….am I missing one or two?

We’re not winning. And if we do by some miracle. We’re getting blown out by the Eagles. Either way, we need help on offense.

If you truly believe this, then you have not watched the Jones family over the last 26 years. They don't react aggressively to a lack of playoff success. They welcome it.

Well if we can just get by Tampa it’s sets us up for most likely a game in Philly. That game would be 50/50.

Im more worried about TB's defense dominating this game. I believe most of their starters will be back next week.

Maybe let’s not spot them 10-14 points to start. If that happens, the game will be un-watchable.

But what about their defense? How did our offense look yesterday? There will be no easy win on Monday.

Well you gotta match up Diggs with Evans all over the field otherwise Brady/Evans is going is going to tear apart any other corner we have!

Time will tell. Outside of Jason Garrett, which is an extreme exception they really haven't had a long-tenured coach. Out of Switzer, Campo, Gailey, Parcells, and Phillips did any of them last longer than their initial contracts?

MM is more than halfway through his contract now, so financially it's at a point where the Jones family would be OK pulling the trigger, especially if DQ lands a new gig elsewhere. Even if not DQ may be the man to slide into the HC slot just a year after being given a big raise and an extension.

Hopefully the Cowboys go on a big run and it's a non issue altogether though!

also monday is MLK day and the bucs I believe play on MLK drive. So the 8-9 Bucs, the worst opponent in cowboys playoff history are definitely going to win.

It'll be interesting to see what the Cowboys do coverage wise this week. Hopefully LVE and Hankins are back. If they are healthy combined with TB not having a great rushing attack the Cowboys may opt to play more deep zone coverage. I wouldn't hate putting Diggs on Godwin and keeping a safety over the top to help whoever the #2 CB is they choose to run out this week.

Of course all of that depends on the Cowboys being able to stop the run game. Tough to play with those safeties deep giving up 5+ on the ground every play. I think that is the key to this game.
