Yeah more dink and dunk

—-

According to a preseason article from the team’s website, the foundation of the Texas Coast is a “combination of horizontal concepts that open up the opposing defense with tempo, pace and concepts that have worked for the team in years past.” In other words, Dallas is reemphasizing the short passing game, a marked shift from Moore’s scheme and something McCarthy and Co. decided to do primarily in reaction to Dak Prescott’s tie for the NFL lead in interceptions in 2022.

..of course he can fix it. There's a will, there's a way.
I would reach out to my football resources. Get some advice.

I don't believe it's fixable with the current cast of characters

I think McCarthy is a fine manager but a terrible coach. He handles the team and the pressures and personalities that exist in pro sports better then most head coaches but I think he is deficient in the X’s and O’s Of setting up a successful scheme on the field. This article does a pretty good job of arguing that point.

Dak is a play action QB. He ran the RPO great and then all of a sudden they moved away from something that wasn't broken. Bring it back!

Even if the offense was average I would say it's fixable, but this offense has gone backwards quickly

mike would have to design plays that have slow processing built into them, hum, sort of like what he's trying now. Which isn't working, so his next move is to punt to the OC who got his job because of his dad. Looks like a win-win situation. Why can't we fix the dak?

Exactly. You can't fix stupid. And Dak is football stupid. Case in point, how many times have you seen him scramble towards the sideline and step out of bounds taking a 2 or 3 yard loss rather than just flicking the ball out of bounds? It happens like once a game and has to be the dumbest thing anyone does as a qb.

it probably isn't his fault, says a dak fan, they should have made the field wider. shrugs.
