This is shaping up to be a really strong crop. Other than Ridgeway I expect all of the draft picks to make the final 53. In addition, Davis, Bell and Hendershot should make it and Houston still has a chance.

Ridgeway just isnt strong enough. A wide body, but legs and arms are too weak. Needs a year in the weight room.

I think Dak would literally kill anyone trying to cut Dennis Houston. They didn't have that guy playing with the starting unit for the hell of it.

I think the Cowboys front office does as good a job as anyone at drafting. Hope McClay stays around for the rest of his career.

Jason Taylor - 7x Pro Bowler + DPOY + All Decade Team
Zach Thomas - 7x Pro Bowler + All Decade Team
Sam Madison - 4x Pro Bowler
Patrick Surtain - 3x Pro Bowler
Brock Marion - 3x Pro Bowler
Tim Bowens - 2x Pro Bowler

Dolphins defense was hell on wheels, one of best in NFL at time.

Jason Taylor (and Trace Armstrong) terrorizing QBs at DE. Zach Thomas and Tim Bowens were a wall in the middle with the the trio of Surtain-Madison-Marion were #1 secondary shutting down passing attacks.

Jason Taylor is HOFer and Zach Thomas is HOF worthy.

Karim Abdul-Jabbar was also Dolphins 1st 1,000 yard rusher since 1978.

And OJ McDuffie was Marino's favorite target during those years.

And Marino actually had an excellent 2 seasons under Jimmy.

"Dan Marino late in his career was better than you thought. He finished third in DYAR and second in DVOA in 1996, and first in the league in DYAR and seventh in DVOA in 1997 before declining his last two seasons. Aikman in 1992 and 1993 was roughly as good as either Marino season. He had 2% more DVOA in 1992 than Marino had in 1996, but a much better DVOA in 1993, when Dr. Z also named him to his All-Pro team. Aikman in 1993 is my preference, but any of the four would be a worthy choice."

Boo-fracking-hoo. That is great results for just 4 seasons as HC.

Take a look at how many of Jimmy's players are in Dolphins top 100 of all time.

Cowboys fans who lived through the Campo years would have KILLED for those results.

Jimmy had GREAT success in Dallas and I wish he would've been around for 15 more years but his results in Miami weren't great.

He didn't have a Herschel Walker to trade in Miami.

And Wayne Huiezinga would not let him trade Marino. Supposedly.
I was living in South Florida at that time. Many fans didn't want it to happen either.

I don't remember if Jimmy actually wanted to trade him or not.
