Although they used multiple RBs and although Pollard did not get 100.
He still had more rushing yards by himself than all of the rushing yards by the Jets.
Here is a crazy one. Rico Dowdle had more rushing yards than both Breece Hall and Dalvin Cook Combined.

The Jets had a total of 64 rushing yards. Of those 64 Zach Wilson had 36 yards on five carries.
The rest of the jets had under 10 yards each rushing.

At first glance it might seem we were shutting down the run. And I guess the D was partially responsible for that.
However the jets had a total of 16 rushing attempts and 5 of those were from the QB.
The Cowboys had 44 rushing attempts

Pollard had 110 total yards this game. Caught 6 ball for 36 yards.

Dowdle looked faster and quicker in both games so far than $10 million man Pollard.

C'mon man.. I know you're probably joking but let's not start all this again. The starter takes more of a pounding over the course of the game and the season so we need to move off from the notion of Pollard averaging 5 ypc as the lead dog. Dude ran the way he was supposed to yesterday. Ran with power when asked, hit the jets when needed, broke tackles moved the pile and protected the ball. The only negative I saw in the run game was we really do need a thumper for the red zone and I think I saw the "Don't block the defensive end" play yesterday... Well I guess that's two negatives.

Oh, Pollard will get it going. It is his first games since his injury. Offense no reps in PS.
I just find it funny, all the Pollard slobberers, as they probably thought he would have 300 yards rushing by now.

I am pulling for Pollard to have some great games. But need to have some fun about it as well.

Yeah the Giants and Jets are both very stout fronts so I was not expecting some explosive rushing attack against either of them. The Cardinals are another story.. They appear to be equally bad against the run as against the pass. And make no mistake about it.. those people you mention were not "Pollard slobberers.." they were Zeke haters. Pollard has about 3 more games to do something spectacular and they will start the call to start Rico.. It's just how this fan base operates.

Two straight 70+ rushing yard games...right on schedule.

Wait.. 3.6 yards per carry is "right on schedule." Why just last year I read right here on this site that any running back getting less than 4 ypc should be benched, cut or hanged in the town square.. What changed?

Double standards are used by many that love one player and hate another. For stupid reasons.

All of this is pretty meaningless and just reflects the larger reason the game was a blowout: We stifled the Jets passing game, our passing game was very efficient, we got a big lead and they had to stop running to try and catch up.

I’m not worried one bit about our run game. We will get Tyler Smith back soon, these TEs are just gonna get better at blocking as the season goes, and Luepke looks like a legit weapon out there.

Dallas is so good they can negate a lot of the opponents rush game by simply getting ahead big.
But you do have to handle teams like the 49ers and Eagles who can punish teams via the run.
If you do that and can stay balanced, you will be fine because this Dallas team is really good through the air.

Deuce is going to continue to bring the juice.
His fresh legs and speed/burst are very evident.
Versus lesser defenses that will really show up.

Would like to see Dowdle get more touches, he's looking good out there and Pollard needs to be on a stricter pitch count. More Turpin and Deuce too, especially if the opposing defense isn't too stout.

Our offensive line will get more healthy, as will Pollard. Passing game is still adjusting to new offensive scheme and didn't have Cooks this last game.

The offense as a whole didn't play any preseason games.

Everyone and everything should look better as time goes on.
