Surprised about the Bears. They went to the SB not too long ago. That's what, 3 wins in a single post season?

They can’t be too far behind us in playoff wins. We haven’t actually padded any playoff victory stats in the last 25 years.
You're right, they aren't too far behind. I think we only have 4 playoff wins in that timeframe but they just won their first in 30+ years

So we are safe for another season, unless the Lions win the Super Bowl and that means they would be tied with us.

the Texans proved something. Yes ,you can do a complete overhaul and flip the script when you start anew with a new HC, NEW QB...a rookie no less....and find them some pieces around him. All it takes is finding the right QB and coach tandem and it can carry u far. Right now, we don't have that. Guys, things look bad, but if Jerry has the balls, we can flip the script in 1 year. That means making very hard prudent decisions...getting away from status quo. First, fire the entire bloody staff. Go hire a disciplined respected HC candidate. Let him pick his staff fully. TRADE DAK if we can.Call New England. Cut Tyron Smith. Everything is on the table. We gotta break the cycle.

Rebuilds are words scared people use to justify staying the same.

The Texans didn't "rebuild" anything.

They simply got rid of their weirdo QB, got a new coach, and drafted a QB.

The Cowboys could do this also, but Jerry is terrified to take that chance.

thats what I am saying. I agree. Jerry is spooked by the idea. But someone must get in his ear and tell him. How much more evidence does he need to see?

And that quarterback is balling with receivers that no one had ever heard of including two of our castaways.

But but Dak just needs more help lol

Stroud just annihilated the best defense in football. Dak would have crapped his pants facing that defense. Hell, he had googly eyes and jelly arms against a mediocre defense that rarely even got pressure on him.

The Texas didn't start playing until 2002.

The Bears, Commanders, Dolphins, Browns, and Lions are all that's left behind us.
And hopefully the Lions win next weekend and make the NFCCG because then the we'd be with the Commanders as the two teams with the longest NFCCG droughts in the conference.

And honestly, with new ownership, if the Commanders make the right hire as HC, they may have a better shot of getting to the NFCCG in the next 3-5 years than we do.

Texans have a fantastic up and coming HC and QB, the most important pieces of a championship team. They are a lot of fun to watch. They are going to be the best team in Texas for a long time.
