Back in 2021 the Jaguars took Walker Little at 45 with two quality starting OT's. He got some starts in between, but this has been his first years as a starter.

Looking at how good this draft is at OT there should be a high quality OT's available where we are expected to pick. Even if the Cowboys intended to start Smith and Steele next year, should they follow a similar path the Jags took with Walker. Taking a quality OT even if you dont intend to start him right as a rookie?

I’m all for it.

I’d go center and tackle with my first two draft picks depending on value and availability.

I do think if you draft an OT, you still have him compete for the RT spot with Steele though. However on this team, Im ok with taking the long approach at such an important position

I would. It's why I wanted Anton Harrison in the first last year.

If you get the right OL, he can probably your swing tackle AND give depth at G. A player like that will almost certainly get games as a rookie.

If he can handle the switch between the left and right side? I’m fine with it. If not, I’d rather not mess up a good left tackle’s technique and footwork.

My focus would be on adding more physicality in the run game blocking. I think we’ve put too much of a priority in flexibility and have become too finesse as a result.

Smith is still likely to miss games at some point, so they would likely get some starts there. Little logged 3 starts as a rookie

Investing in a guy who is a tackle, but would also have some capability of playing guard as well is not a bad move at all. Center will definitely need to be addressed. Fautanu, Barton or J.C. Latham are worth considering for the first scenario. For center, give me Jackson Powers-Johnson (I doubt that they would be able to get Sedrick Van Pran late in the second).

maybe we already have that guy in Asim and Waletsko, maybe one of them can start for us.I would love to draft a good Center early though.

Really like Asim. Plays with power and I think he could be a good starter at some point.

100% in…give Tyron a 1 year deal, let the rook play if Steele continues to suck and if not you’ve got LT of the future in year 2.

Kingsley Suamataia from BYU is a name to watch. After the workouts we may not even have a chance at him. Top notch athleticism. Doesn’t yet play with the power that we all love but I think it will come.

Nothing wrong with strengthening your strength.

Quinton Nelson was my top target in the 2018 draft even though we had the best OL in the league at the time.

LT - Richards (6th)
LG - Bass (UDFA)
OC - Hoffman (UDFA)
RG - Ball (4th)
RT - Waletzko (5th)

These guys are the developmental projects. Dallas should definitely draft a guy they like over all these guys.

When you are talking about OT, you dont really want to count on maybe. If those guys turn out, even better. But they need a plan this offseason

Honestly I think Bostic might have the most upside of all the guys added this offseason. But he is nowhere near ready to see the field.

Imagine we could have grabbed him instead of Joseph. Same draft right?
