If this team can bounce back and handle the 49ers like it should then maybe we can use the Skins game as a hard lesson but if the Cowboys come out and lay down against the 49ers you can call it a year and start putting your 2006 draft prospects in order.

I know it's early to start making such bold statements but these type of games we had last night can define the character of a team and start the ball rolling in either direction.

I sure hope the staff and vets have something special planned this week.

It ALWAYS comes down to next week. What we need to do is now focus on that, as we cannot change history. I do look forward to the SF game. My expectations have not dropped. I expect our guys will do well and win.

Well, if we were to lose next week......then this team is not anywhere close to as good as I thought they were.

I agree, I mean with the personnell we have, there is no reason why we shouldn't put the beat down on SF next week. Especialy coming of a HOME LOSS to the skins. My expectations do not change either, we'll, I garauntee it, lol.

the SF game has been a must win all along. that doesn't change. i think the loss last night puts more pressure on us to go out and steal a win @ Oakland.

You mean, "There is no reason why we SHOULDN'T but the beat down on SF" don't you?

The Cowboys will easily take care of business in SF, and it won't mean anything. SF is a weak, weak football team as they proved against the Eagles.

The NFL is what it is and Dallas is what it is. We are a 9-7, 8-8, 10-6, football team this year. Right in that area. A good team, not a great team, and I hope a team in the playoffs.

Exactly.

They need to take care of SF early and not LET them back in the game.

The Oakland game is very winnable after watching them the first few games, but nothing is easy with these Cowboys teams of late. If they can win in OAK, then they are right back on track.

i agree if we start out 1-2 and lose to such bad teams, there isnt much hope for the season. sure we could tough it out and end up 8-8 or some ****ty record, but then we still dont make the playoffs, and we end up with a midround pick instead of a top pick. plus add to that the giants have been playing really good, and they have a real offense, something we havent seen since Aikman left. season really not looking good. we gotta beat both giants games, the remaining skins game, and at least 1 out of the eagles 2 games, just to be able to be near .500

The last 2 years have seen the Cowboys ride emotional high's and low's for 2 or 3 weeks straight under Parcells. This is why the 49ers game worries me so much.

I hope you guys are right. I hope we go into SF and handle our business.
