The Cowboys are coming off of one of their biggest wins in years after destroying the Buccaneers so now it's onto San Francisco where it will be a lot tougher than it was on Monday night. I personally think that now that the Cowboys have gotten over the hump (and believe me it was more like a mountain) and they'll come out very relaxed, especially Dak Prescott. Dak played one of the best games of his career last week and I think he'll continue to play well Sunday. The 49er's are on a hot streak winning 11 in a row and their third string quarterback Brock Purdey is playing way over his head. Now if the Cowboys can get some pressure on Purdy and make him uncomfortable he'll throw a few picks and that's what will decide the game. I also want to see a heavy dose of Tony Pollard, get the ball in that guy's hands as much as possible because he's your game-breaker. Now the Cowboys do have questions with their special teams, especially with Brett Maher but hopefully, he has it figured out because they'll need him come Sunday. So who do I like in this game, well it was 30 years ago when the Cowboys went into Candlestick and beat the 9ers to advance to the Superbowl in 1992 so it's deja vu all over again.

I was so confident in last years game at home that Dallas would win. This year I am not confident at all in SF. Maybe that's exactly the recipe for success? The two things I want to see executed to perfection for this game are, stopping the run and winning special teams, i.e. FG's, KO/Punt coverage and KO/Punt return field position. If they do that, I feel they have a good shot.

If everything goes perfectly as you laid out ,yes, a comfortable win.
Things don't always go as planned for our boys, so I am expecting a dog fight.
Hopefully we win, but I am expecting it to be close.

disputable. they have not played that many good teams.
Debatable, sure

But they were absolutely dominant in the majority of those 11 wins. So it's not like they're scraping by the Texans or anything.

What we don't really know, is how well they'll handle adversity should they see it.

At the most important time of the year, Chicken Little suddenly appears...

Sorry, Im not a blind homer. Niners are a great team. Being realistic. Cowboys are the underdog.

I will save the homer rants for you types. Need I mention that our kicker can barely kick an extra point? Are you confident that if it comes down to a 45 or 50 yard FG for the Cowboys to win that our boy can come through?

What are the chances we win this game? I give it a 30% chance for Cowboys to win. You?

Are you confident they will give the ball to Pollard 80% of the time? Im not.

I will say, that this is the first game I feel confident the Cowboys will play very close to their best ball of the season.

And if they do that, they definitely have a shot.

One question. Is Dallas a product of playing up to their competition or down to them? I feel they play good teams very well and struggle vs teams that are not very good.

So when the Cowboys win you will have to say the Cowboys are officially the favorite to win the SB. Although, let's be honest...you will go into hiding.
LOL.....Why because I think the Niners are a great team? They are buddy. If you cant grasp that, its not my fault.

I give the Cowboys a 30% chance to win this game. If they win I will be surprised and happy.

The Eagles I would give them a much better chance. Are you saying the Cowboys should be favored this game?

And no just because they beat a better team doesnt mean they are the favorite. Cowboys are a contender, one of several.

WTH? Niners are a great team? And what are we? Chopped liver?

Let's compare:

Niners have the #1 Defense.
Cowboys have the #5 Defense.

Niners have the #6 scoring Offense.
Cowboys have the #4 scoring Offense.

3rd Down Efficiency %:
Niners @ 45.0
Cowboys @ 45.5

Sacks:
Niners @ 44
Cowboys @ 54

Interceptions:
Niners @ 20
Cowboys @ 16

As you can see, the Cowboys are just as good or slightly better in most categories. Plus, the Cowboys have beaten much more playoff ready teams than the Niners have this year. The Cowboys had a top 10 hard schedule. Niners had one of the easiest. I don't understand anyone's lack of faith or being scared of the 49ers, especially after what this Cowboys team has shown how it can play and put up numbers against even the toughest opponents this season.

Cowboys have a 80% chance to win this game if both our Oline and Dline show up and battle. 49ers are in for a rude awakening.
