When asked about outside players in FA, he avoided answering that.
And really that is good, because it is too early to be thinking about that.
Decide on your own players first, then maybe go for someone outside in FA.
But really it is hard to grab guys in FA before the draft.
For example do you go for a FA wr or look for one in the draft?
FA should be after the draft, but the way it is set up, by then many of the better players are gone.
Brian also has to work with and confer with the jones boys to do anything significant with outside players
in FA.
That has hampered every HC we have had, but it is what it is.
I like many of the things Shotty said in this PC about the staff, and many were guys he didnt know, but is excited
they are here and to work with them.
The main wrench in the wheel will be the jones boys lol, so have to wait and see if they stick their heads in the wheel.
