The window has slammed shut

We made moves this off-season to close the gap on San Francisco and compete in the NFC. Last night slammed that window shut. We aren't competing this year and it might be time to start the rebuild before we get caught in the constant cycle of 8-8 again. The ceiling of this team this year is a possible wild card win followed by a divisional round loss in probably embarrassing fashion. Do the right thing Jerry and don't cling on to false hope.

There will never be a rebuild…once fans wrap their heads around this they can start to cope. “Re- tooling” is what will always happen. Not saying I agree but they will not bottom out unless it’s a year where they get decimated by injury and the odds fall their way
