There would have to be language in an OBJ contract in case of re-injury?

The biggest concern facing OBJ is his injury history. Is he also a diva, yes, I'll get to that in a second. It would not be smart to offer him a contract from this team without protecting us in case he were to get injured. We saw the cowboys do this for Gerald McCoy.

As far as player conduct I'd think about adding this as well. Both of these languages he'd have to agree to, one maybe more than the other. This was recently put into the contract of Randy Gregory.

Does anyone think this is fair to do, do you think obj would agree with the language in the contract... Please give me your thoughts

No. No agent in their right mind would sign off on that

I pick up what you’re laying down , but I’d like to get a young physical healthy player at the WR position

if the FO has to put that kind of language in OBJs contract , I’d sooner do without.

I think it has less to do with re-injury and more to do with production. He hasn't had a decent season since 2019 (74 1035 4)and all-pro season since 2016 (101 1367 10). You don't pay for someone that may be done or pretty close to done.
