If Sean Lee isn’t a DC someday I’ll be surprised. Best instincts I’ve ever seen in a defensive player. Never seen a true 4-3 off ball linebacker single handledly win games like he did. With good health he would have been a first ballot player.
Why would Lee be interested in the time needed to be invested working up through the coaching ranks? With his knowledge and ability to articulate he could make 10x working in a booth. Merely coaching would be a massive waste of his skillset!

I agree. He seems like he should be in the booth and the job is much easier and they get paid more.

Several former Dallas Cowboys players have made the move off the field and onto the sidelines. Several have served as position coaches and coordinators over the years.

'Hardline': nice post.
Especially for noting Danny White -- a successful head coach in the modern Arena League back in the 1990s through the 2000s - and Ray Horton -- longtime NFL assistant coach and defensive coordinator, that had a successful head coaching debut in the second season of the USFL restart.
