Things you are most looking forward to seeing vs. Indy

Spencer

Marten and Free

Carpenter

How Hamlin fits in

Battle vs. Thompson

Alan Ball and Courtney Brown

Plus just seeing this cool 34 one-gap defense with the NT and DEs offset a little!

seriously?? That's great news...

I double checked and it is a nationally televised game on FOX Thrusday the 9th at 7 pm eastern

wanna see 1 or 2 series from first unit.. Want to see Romo hit receivers with ease, the Oline hold there position, JJ get some running room.
Ware put pressure on the QB or sack, the defense show some form of dominance.

Then the rookies. :)

I wanna see this new defense players have been raving about.

Go ahead...make my day Wade.

and during the pre-season games.

For me

Seeing how explosive and exciting Stanback is.
Seeing what kind of game Matt Moore has.
Watching Jason Garrett on the sidelines, and how he interacts with the players. What is his demenor?

How disciplined are we?

I would also say Romo but he wont play much so i cant get too excited about him.
Doubt we will see Stanback vs Indy. Or maybe vs anyone this season.

No injuries should be everyones # 1. Then after that I would have to say I'm looking forward to see the new guys.

I want to see physical evidence that what Julius Jones said about Parcells turning him into a robot was true, and his return to his rookie form.

I want to see our Oline giving the QB time to pick apart the defense.

I want to evaluate Hurd to see if he can be a quality starter.

I want to see if Anderson is our man at fullback. I want to see if Battle or Coleman have what it takes to replace Thompson.

I want to see if the smaller LBs make a difference, mostly with James. I want to see if Carpenter looks comfortable at ILB. I want to see Spencer and Ware on the field at the same time getting pressure.

I want to see Roy Williams closer to the LOS while Hamlin plays centerfield. I want to see if Thomas, Brown, or Ball have it takes to knock Reeves or Jones off the roster.

  • Romo in the pocket.
  • 1st team offensive line working together.
  • Anthony Spencer getting after it.
  • Ken Hamlin leading the secondary and possibly the defense.
  • Bobby Carpenter playing ILB.
  • Miles Austin's progression along with Hurd.

My main concern is us coming out of it without any injuries, after that, I'll be watching the play of the OL and to see if we can mount any pass rush/pressure.

Matt McBriar using his newfound tackling abilities on special teams!

1. Romo showing that he's the man in the first couple of series.
2. Offensive line play throughout the whole game.
3. Wide receiver play from #4 on down
4. Safety play with Hamlin and Watkins
5. Rookie defensive back play

No injuries

Spears and Canty. They are a big key IMO. They need to be playmakers this year.

1. No injuries
2. O-Line, specifically McQuistan, Free, Marten, Bigg, and Proctor
3. Battle and Julius (is he running to daylight)
4. Hurd and Austin
5. New defense - We probably will not show much, but hopefully enough to get an idea of this new D and the attacking approach.
6. Nick Folk
7. I am definetly waiting to see I.S., but dont know when that will happen.
