If Harbaugh or Parcells were coaching this team with a conservative smash mouth ball control offense that doesn't lose the game we could win but we have boy wonder at OC, and a clueless HC. Parcells won with Quincy crack head Carter and a bunch of zeros. Harbaugh won and went to a super bowl (woulda won if they coulda just stuck to the run) with Kapernick a good defense and a power running game. It could be done but would need the right HC and mentality, but Moore is way to pass happy and showy.

I agree the defense is good at this time....should improve week to week. But the run defense still is a weakness. Give up too many 5+ yards on first down. And not enough 3 and outs. But the offense has not held up their end. Todays defense is great when it shuts down a team for a TD or two, around 17 points or less. A good team does not lose those games.

Start playing 3lbers more than 3 safeties. Cox shoulda been active not sure what the deal is there he could cover a rb, te and some receivers with help.
