The Cowboys will beat the Dolphins next week and you can put it in 72 point Avenir font. The Cowboys were going to lose 1 of these 2 games. Today was that game.

The Sam Williams penalty was probably the change of no return. But I’m not particularly upset about it or pissed at him. He was fantastic position to block the kick and probably pick it up and score. He somehow missed the ball, partly because his rush was biased to the plant leg and not the kicking leg. But I’ll take that chance every time because it’s a block probably 8 out of 10 times.

The penalty that’s inexcusable to me was Tank’s. There was no effort to pull up and then raised his forearm to hit Josh high. I was always a proponent of hitting Eli hard early even if it meant taking a 15 yarder, but that was because it would affect Eli the rest of the game. Tank’s was just a stupid play.
