1) Tyler Smith - He's a solid LT already. Potentially a Pro Bowler.

2) Sam Williams - He's not on the field that much but when he is, he's effective and definitely making plays with positive impact for the defense.

3) Jalen Tolbert - The only rookie that doesn't look good right now. Hopefully he's learning a lot right now and can step in year 2. Really doubt he does anything for the rest of the season.

4) Jake Ferguson - Not a starter, but when given opportunities he flashes signs that he could be the starter for next season.

5) Damone Clark - I think he forced a fumble tonight but the fact that he's even playing and contributing after the surgery he had this offseason is unbelievable. Talk about value in the 5th round.

5) Daron Bland - Two picks tonight (3 on the season) and he's probably going to be seeing the field a lot more after Brown's injury. Again this type of production from a rookie 5th rounder is unbelievable.

I'm not ready to make the "one of the best ever" statement, but it looks promising. When you start to think of the second year jump and the possibilities, it makes me very hopeful about this draft class, and what it means for our future. Drafting well is the best way to acquire talent, stay youthful and control the cap.

Yes, I thought so in the offseason.

My biggest disappointment has been Tolbert. I was really high on him going into the season, and nada.

The Dallas Cowboys are the best drafting team in the NFL and it's showing on that football field.

It's all Will McClay.

That bum.

Don't forget undrafted people like Hendershot. I think they should count as well.

I think Bland has tied Diggs for the team lead in INTs now??

He should, because Kansas City was trying to get him, too. But Hendershot had already agreed to go with the Cowboys.

Very good but we've got a long ways to go before they're part of a "best every" discussion.
