Other than the draft, this is a very critical time for football teams at all levels. Evaluations of players, predictions of their future improvements, health, drop offs...breaking down your own film, looking for tendencies and weaknesses, breaking down your opponents rosters and the moves that they are making...so many things that most fans don't think about....it is a very exciting time! Football is 24/7 365 days a year! 366 in a leap year! I love it! Salud and Happy Easter weekend!

We have 20 days full of misdirection from teams, as well many trade rumors. Most of this trade rumors will be false and / or speculation by fans and talking media heads to justify their jobs.

Yes, an important time, as Dallas set themselves up, to select BPA (though area of need plays into that as well, at time). Though some fans will disagree as they feel DT should be taken rather the team feels BPA or not, and I can't blame them.
They have done a very good job this offseason. Though some don't think they did or did not do more than usual. But they kept the core team together. Players lost were not that significant that were not or can not be replaced. They got a CB and a WR that can make a difference for overall improvement.

And that is why it is important time of the year. They laid the ground work to have another successful draft.

I have not taken the time to get into the draft, or any mocks as I usually do, nor looks at other teams needs as well. I need to spend more time in the draft zone than I have. I like all the mocks, and ideas from the threads as to what players to look for.
I wish they would go back to the weekend Saturday / Sunday draft though. I still do not like the current set up. Especially only 1 round day 1.

The blackboard is over crowded already...for sure. The team has already made a ton of team directional decisions.

This is the start of fan overload just trying to keep up with the developments and adjustments going on from the present, to the Playoffs.

At the very least, this set of Cowboys shouldn't have to worry about vanishing in November thru December!

This year there are many top shelf positional players and much that can be developed and players spending significant plays on the carpet.
