This is why you make LG Tyler's home position

I dunno, guards are a lot easier to find than tackles. If you think he'd be just as good at LT, then you put him there for the next decade and don't overthink yourself into doing something dumb. Of course, that changes if he's a perennial Pro Bowl left guard but just an okay tackle. Too early to say at this point without seeing him in practice, but it's super cool to see him playing as well as he is.

Just play the kid somewhere. Drove me nuts all off-season when some were claiming he MUST play LT and nowhere else. I suspect he moves there next year or sometime soon, but as long as he is playing well somewhere I’m ecstatic. Gives us the flexibility of finding a future LT or LG.

If Zack Martin has proved anything..

Even if you CAN play Tackle, it doesn’t mean it’s your best position. Zack will be a HOF player, and Tyler looks like an All Pro LG.. if it’s not broke, leave him there.

Moving him to LT bc he can play LT only creates a problem at Guard. LT Tyron Smith look really good last week and he doesn’t play G.
