I think it is all about perspective.

If you wanted another 12-5, early playoff exit season and little to no changes for 2025, then you were probably disappointed.

If you wanted a new coaching staff and other changes to the team for 2025, then 2024 was a wasted season, but not a disappointment.

This season went exactly as I would have expected. We saw what Green Bay did to Dallas and came away with a clear plan to fix what's broken and make another run. Of course no one can predict injuries, but the weaknesses GB exploited were not fixed in the off season. In fact, they got worse. We let Pollard go and did not sign anyone near as capable. We let Armstrong, Fowler, Hankins, and Gallimore go and signed Joseph and Carlos Watkins, and drafted Kneeland to replace them. Instead of upgrading those positions, we downgraded. When Sam Williams got hurt it was the clincher. Dallas couldn't stop the run again, and got worse running the football.

We didn't see Dak's awful season coming. But would it have mattered? The blowout loss to the Saints told the story of the rest of the season. Don't forget, Jerry let CeeDee wait until the season almost began before signing him to a new contract. For what purpose? Looking at the WR group, how do you let your only real WR threat sit out the preseason and training camp? And then pay him $34 million anyway? What did that accomplish?

This season had disaster written all over it from the beginning. IMO, given the injuries and everything else, McCarthy pulled off a minor miracle to win 7 games.

This team is in crisis folks. It is starting off even worse than in 2024. Jerry and Stephen have already started whining about CAP space so expect 2025 to be worse than 2024. Maybe that's the best thing for this team. Lose lots of games, get a high draft pick and maybe there is a game changing QB in the board when we draft in 2026.

This season could not have gone any worse.
One of the two teams i hate the most in the superbowl
Bad but not bad enough for a top tier generational pick
Jerry is the new Al Davis off his rocker, little to look forward to..
You would be crying the same thing if you were a Packer fan, Viking fan or Lion fan. Probably crying and moaning more if the Cowboys went 15-2 and got slapped silly like the Lions.

Doesn’t matter what other teams are doing. They are gonna change their staff so that’s something. But it’s still Jerry but he’s been here for the last 28 years and you were ok with it so you’ll be ok now lol.

Jerry has totally killed my enthusiasm for this team.
He does not how to run a successful team.
We will never see a SB with him.
I am so discouraged as a fan.

The only good thing is that Baltimore and Buffalo are completely different leagues than any NFC team and it should be a smacking in the Superbowl

I have full confidence in Jerry when it comes to exactly ONE thing….he will fully humiliate himself in several ways before he makes his grand exit.

That actually may be more satisfying than watching him aggressively grab the trophy out of the hand of the coach he will never hire to be able to get there in the first place.

Makes the entire chain of events since the Packers debacle even more infuriating. This is a clueless front office!

I actually do not care if, and even welcome, Philly or Washington winning the Super Bowl.

None of it matters anymore. Any sort of "pride" that was still left over being a fan of this team left during the Dak era.
