This team has no chance until the line improves

It starts there at Oline. I agree. But we kinda knew they would have growing pains. But we didn't know Martin would be bad either. That hurt. But we also have a multitude of issues all over. You name it, we need it. In one year, we regressed badly. Losing talent, not replacing them properly, hurt. Then holding the staff hostage, bringing in a DC that is long in the tooth, also hurt. New d scheme to boot. We may not win but 1 more game.

Btw, can we stop pretending kendricks is good? He's been not very good. He's slow. A liability at times. He looks like toast. Our linebacker corps are sub par. Overshown is clearly our best lb. The guys on d are just out manned. Zimmer just isn't getting his message to them.

Fairly sure the all in crap was BS from the start. No team can lose that many players in free agency, not replacing them, forgo any real moves during free agency, and expect better results. In this game, if you ain't getting better, adding talent, your staying the same. Which gets you beat.

A good line makes a back up look servicable. It all starts with the o line. Run the ball. Set up play action. Force them to leave the receiver one on one. Good line actually allows you to follow though on a deep ball.it
You obviously meant the DLine. Absolutely nothing will matter until we fix the DLine.

Only thing I disagree w/ is your last sentence.

We lack talent, period. No one would make this sad clusterfudge look decent.

It’s both trenches. Like it was all offseason. Like it’s been for decades, literally for decades.

This team has had great personnel through the years, but always light in the trenches, that leads to playoff failures.

Stephen has a ton of cheap labor there, just the way he likes it.

I'm convinced the RT wouldn't even be on the practice squad anywhere else. I despise his play so much I won't even mention him by name.

O line and D line are the two most important things shore up. Then go from there.

If you gotta start with one, I would go with the o line, then the d line

What? No Zeke love? I guess you finally see the light. Don't think Ronnie ever will.
