This Team Needs to Do 3 Things to Contend

Just three:

• Eliminate Penalties.
• Establish the pass and (and make the catch)
• Add new tweaks and wrinkles every week, stay unpredictable, pre-snap motions, not trick plays.

Everything else they're doing is working. They're rushing the passer. They've been pretty good against the run. And most importantly, they've held good teams to relatively few points.

If the Cowboys can hold the Eagles to 19 points, I'd say they have a chance to win.

We'll see if we can test the Rams.

Those two games, and this next one against the Commanders, could define this team and our season.

I was wondering about their penalties….Eagles, Giants and Cowboys are top 10 in penalties…I wonder is that a coincidence the whole division is there…..Eagles and Cowboys are tied. If they can shore that up and Eagles can’t…..can be a advantage.

Not to steal a thread but I believe Micah, Zach, Tyler, and Diggs our the four players on this team we cannot afford to lose.

We just need to make it a focus.

If we can build our team around discipline, and keep doing the pre-snap motions and hard-counts, silent-counts, etc. Just that stuff alone can be deadly.

I remember playing as a young kid. And we played these deaf kids from the Texas School of the Deaf. And we were good that year, undefeated in fact. But we play these guys in a scrimmage and they just rolled us up and down because of the motions and silent count, hard count stuff.

It was amazing, looking back actually.

Disagree. Maybe Micah is the exception but this team under McCarthy has shown they can compete with key guys out. Micah is so dominate and effects so many guys that I think they would be a whole different team.
