True, technically, no team has lost a game yet.

However, it's difficult to claim the Cowboys went "undefeated" in this year's draft. I would say that success in drafting and free agency is the equivalence of an offseason win or loss as it directly relates to the outcome of the upcoming season.

By the way, I have noticed different perceptions on what is called a "negative Nancy". Is that someone with an unrealistic expectation of failure or is it someone that disagrees with a stated opinion?

For me, this part of the year is more of an "impatient" period than an "exciting" one. The draft is over with the majority of related media coverage and analysis. Training camp hasn't begun and that puts most fans in "no man's land" as far as NFL football is concerned. At this point there is no topic that hasn't gone through exhaustive discussion.

I don't consider this to be negative. Impatience is a form of excitement, isn't it. We are so excited that we want it now.

I think we are all ready for some football. I like the Cowboys chances in the upcoming season. However, I look for some important questions to be answered before opening day.

I posted this earlier, don't know where it went, but!!! As most fans that played or coached the game know, this is a great time of the season. Building a Brotherhood, growing as players, learning new schemes etc.... Can't wait!
No negative nancies allowed or clickbaiters!
Blimey. Reading your post I got an itch to see an Up With People concert.

Speak for yourself with that "this time of year" notation. I'm nothing if not consistent.

Not being negative but what drives me nuts most as a fan are all the "This team is totally different with this coaching stuff." This QB looks totally different, the chemistry is at it's all time best, etc...type of quotes. All the fluff surely makes us all feel good about being tied for 1st but in reality it all means nothing until real games start, lol

Sounds awfully familiar coming from one never explaining football beyond a name calling and insult...intended.

Now, let us hear yet another one...on an OP encouraging the observing of what goes on with all teams. Even the Dallas Cowboys....here's your chance again now.
You need football explained to you?
That is distressing. At your age.

I don’t see any brotherhood being built here. It’s the same as usual this time of year with a lot of complaining and Dak hating.

It’s a wonderful time of year! July 4th is soon and to me that always signaled that football season is getting serious.

Yeah this offseason is rough. People get weird and start looking for trouble and instigating stuff in here.

I think those of us who are trying to stay positive get attacked the most. The games will be here soon enough.

A negative Nancy is you who went negative IMMEDIATELY after Ranch asked for no negativity. It’s a public forum so you can post whatever crap you want but you’re exposing yourself in the process.

Personally I don't hate Dak....I just don't think he's been good enough (to win a Championship that is)

That's not hating though. I think he's a good guy....and one of the 15 to 17 best quartbacks in American Football on the entire planet og 8,000,000,000 people, or whatever it has jumped up to now.

If ur top 15 or 17 best at ANYTHING out of 8 billion people....then you are truly one in a million.
