Thoughts and Views on Cowboys-Eagles upset Win

Here's some Thoughts, Eyeball View and Comments i had on this Cowboys- Philly Upset Win:

- if Kellen Moore departs , what a way to go out vs rival Philly ! Kellen really believes in pushing ball downfield and we were relentless with it vs Philly

- Give kudos to Sean Lee for firing up and re-focusing his teammates on the sidelines when the team got down and behind 14-3 ; ,,to which that seem to get this defense on track to play far more competitively - it was Sean , not Mike Noland
No question Lee is the clear true inspiring leader of this team.

-i do not know what replay officials smoking' on Calling a Jalen Hurts fumble "inconclusive" .. the replay shows knee clearly down B4 ball squirmed out Hurts arms ....

-How slooow was Eagles DC Jim Swartz in Not making changes replacing abused CB michael Jacquett..??....All 3 of our top WRs simply destroyed him merciless.

-How ingenius was Kellen to keep going after specifically Eagels CB Marquett ... they clearly saw he was a sure green light weakness and did not sway away from Marquett

-Randy gregory was ballin !!' .. he even outshined DLaw . and at one time Philly had to double team him.

-Frankly i do not want Aldon Smith back, ..even if he comes dirt cheap... either he has hit a wall physically or his motor does not run hot, and he does not want to be here. He's not explosive at all, he's lumbering. He hasn;t had a sack in about 11 games straight now.

- How big was difference in Fletcher Cox hurt and out of the game change matters ? i thought everyone else for Eagles just tired and fumed out

- Does Jalen Hurts still look like the future of the Eagles ? or just another gimmick backup QB?

- What if this team did not luckily sign Andy Dalton, would we be right there with Jets, Jacksonville for top 1 overall pick ? Dalton has gotten more comfortable in Kellen offense per weekly

- Is Andy Dalton playing himself into a FA contract next offseason? What if Wash. had Dalton? .. or New England ? ( Cam vs Bills is just pitiful)

- After going blank on turnovers for years- what has happen to our defense where we are now getting turnovers ?

- No matter what happens vs NYG, no matter almost 500 yds vs Eagles, did DC Mike Nolan save his job with this 3 game win streak ?

- Interesting that Nolan had CJ Goodwin spying Hurts ,..rather than Jaylon Smith...

- why did Pederson's eagles stop running the ball ? , ..and that was a game changer

- And what is the deal with Eagles HC Pederson going for it on 4th and 15 instead of a long FG before the half ?
Only Raiders' Gruden bumble vs Dolphins with a FG vs a TD was worse !

- Kudos to Joe Philibin for great work on this patchwork OL unit. It wasn't always perfect and a few spotty moments, but Dalton had enough protection and zeke had 105 rushing yrds

- Anyone notice ookie DB Reggie Robinson almost forced a fumble from his special teams hit

- Bone's trick plays not withstanding we have played decent to solid special teams vs disasters last 2 years

- Should Philly tank it for a higher draft pick with no chance for playoff hope ?

Nice observations.
Let’s go get the win Sunday and hope for a WFT loss.
Will be concerned with all else and if Nolan is here or not, come the off season. Or any other coaching and player moves then.

I think some good things have happened over the last 3 games, even as far back as the Steelers game.

I thought phil game is the best game cowboys have played all season, offense and defense did good.
Defense shut out phil in 2nd half , which is something they havent done in long time.

You are spot on with Aldon. He’s gassed, and I don’t know why in the world Anea is not getting snaps.

Fletcher Cox is the best player on the Eagles team, and had issues against the run, and not much middle pressure on pass plays without him, giving Dalton cleaner pockets to work with, more time to exploit 3rd and 4th corners

It was creative to use a spy from the defensive secondary in the 2nd half on Hurts, which added pressure to already having to keep up in points, due to Cox's absence.

But like you said we were set on Clainborne and it's not like we passed on Cox.

Brocker and Wagner were the two players i was hearing at that time, Brocker wouldve been the pick if not for Claiborne.
And Brock has been solid player but hes' not dominant or a difference maker.

Reports were Cowboys were strongly considering picking Wagner in the 2nd round - before they made the trade deal for Mo'....
