Our leader for many years, he's made some good plays this year, does he stick around for another season next year. Has he shown you enough this far for them to think about contract talks? Please give your thoughts

Some are asking questions that we won’t know for sure, until the end of the season. We’re only four games in, you have to let the season play out. Some were asking if we should extend McCarthy after the first two games. After the Cardinals loss the following week one the fan was asking if he should be fired? Lol

I keep seeing the phrase "only 4 games" in posts. True but that is 25 percent of the season, hardly an irrelevant chunk.

Anyway, Tank isn't showing up in the stats too much (so far of course)

He’s having a great year. (…. Before the stat nerds get to this thread.)

Has taken on multiple roles on that D-Line that won’t always show up In the stats.

But no, not time for any contract. He’s getting up there and while he seems healthier as of late, just a matter of time.

Love having Tank as a leader on the team, but realistic.

I hate how sports get so stats driven and we gobble them up like they are all that matters.

Tank has been one of our best players for years now.

Robert Quinn chased sacks in his 1 season but was a total liability in the run game (or when the QB stepped forward). Look at that in 10 years and people will be saying Quinn was much better than Tank that year.....rubbish, utter rubbish. Teams need a tank or 2.

Given his contract I don't see any way the Cowboys let him go after this year unless a team is knocking down the door to trade for him. You only save about $10MM to get rid of him post June 1, which any more isn't a ton of money in the NFL.

I am very glad that Tank is no longer lead dawg. I think he's been a much better player with more commitment once Parsons arrived. Before, it felt like he thought he could give whatever effort, when he chose because he was the best player on D.
