Throw out the record, Rams are a good team that most likely will be playing in the postseason this year. They pressed both the 49ers/Eagles, blew out the Seahawks in their house, have a SB winning QB and one of the best HC's in this entire league.

Offense

-Rams defense isn't full of star player any longer, outside of Aaron Donald. Donald can be a game wrecker, where the Cowboys need to know where he is lined up on every snap as the Rams look to exploit the best matchups for him.
-Pass defense is a extremely young, where they employ a 5'8 slot corner. They like to play press coverage, in which the Cowboys receivers have struggled with this year.
-Their run defense is kind of like the Cowboys, very inconsistent, one week they are real good, another week they cannot stop a cold. You would think the Cowboys want to come out of their bye, running the football better, however, they may have bigger advantage in the passing game, if the OL holds up.

Defense

-They have one of the best WR units in the entire league. Puka is an offensive rookie of a year candidate, Kupp is remains dangerous, Atwell has Turpin type of speed and he has the ability to stretch the field. Their TE, Higbee also can give team struggles in the passing game. Gilmore has struggled with speed/quickness all season long, Rams certainly have the advantage throwing the football.
-They are a very underrated rushing team that uses a lot of unknown backs, where McVay still forces the linebackers to stay discipline with their reads.
-Their OL is probably their weakest unit on the offense. Fans who follow the draft closely, remember Steve Avilia from TCU, he might be one of their best lineman. Tackles struggle with speed off the edge, but they are better within the interior. They might have to move their guard to tackle due to injury. This is where the Cowboys have their biggest advantages.
-Stafford is more of a pocket passer these days, without the threat of running the football.

Special Teams

-They just cut Maher this week, heard they were looking at the long time Packer kicker.
-Cowboys really struggled against the Chargers punt return/coverage.

- While Maher has struggled ...our rookie FG kicker (Audrey) has made major strides.
- With rookie WR Puka, ..he apparently surpassed Van Jefferson to make him expendable in a trade
- Aaron Donald can still be a wrecker, but ironically we've had average guys like Williams, McGovern, Fua who
surprisingly handled Donald in successful win games.
- I love McVey's pass design and how it involves multi-pre snap shifts and it helps schemes WRs to get open
and they are not dink n dunk with Stafford, as we are with Dak/McCarthy.
- I expect extreme nickel defense vs Rams, since they do not have a star RB or serious run attack.

We can't overlook them like some fans are doing in here for some ODD reason, any game we play i'm saying it's going to be a CLOSE ONE!

Can beat us IF we let 'em stick around in a one score type conservative game.
IF we can overwhelm their oline with pressure and turnovers and maybe even a score, then it could be a 2 score type win for us.

So basically,
the same as the previous 6 games. Totally defense dependent in the hopes that the no identity offense can have just enough to win if the defense can't take over the game entirely.

Worried about Tyler as he handles power better then speed/quickness which the others mentioned were the opposite

Wasn’t one of the Rams OT”s injured in their practice. See it happens to other teams as well. he may not play. I have not heard anything definite.

I always think of the 1976 playoff game in LA.
That Roger Staubach to Preston Pearson pass play.

The Rams are currently one game under 500 and will struggle to make the playoffs. They’re not close to the team they were two years ago when they went all in to win the Super Bowl. They’re paying the price for that season. They’re dangerous because Matt Stafford can get hot and he has two outstanding receivers in Cooper Kupp, and the rookie Puka. Defensively they still have Aaron Donald who can still wreck a game. I’m expecting a tough game tomorrow. The Cowboys can ill afford to drop this game with Philly coming up next week on the road.
