We have seen this script before, this beatdown was very similar to the one the 49ers game earlier in the year.

Offense

-They had a nice opening drive, then a holding call by Tyler and Dak taking a sack forced them to punt the football.
-Pollard had one of his better games, just like the Cowboys front, the Bills are very undersized.
-It seemed the Cowboys really struggled after the loss of Zach Martin. Bills were able to generate pass rush with just their front 4.
-Huge early miss to Brandin Cooks that would of been a TD.
-Receivers really struggled getting any separation all game long.
-Dak struggled with his reads, holding the football way too long. Not only did the Bills play extra men in coverage, they were disguising after the snap.
-2nd hit on Dak was very dirty, I'm shocked the player wasn't ejected.

Defense

-Huge penalty on DLaw after the defense stopped them on the opening drive. Yes, Allen drew the foul, but DLaw should of known better.
-Play early on told us what was to come, 5 yard run, turns into 15 after.
-Run defense was god awful, they cannot beat any team giving up 200 yards on the ground. It wasn't just Hankins being out, there were issues across the board. In my opinion, looked like some quit as the game progressed. Allen didn't even have to throw a single pass to win this week.
-Thought the penalty on Kearse personal foul was a joke.
-Poor job of the Cowboys not throwing the challenge flag for the fumble.

Special Teams

-How does Sam Williams miss blocking the punt and then roughing the punter? Was a huge game changing play. Do they take him off special teams?

I won't get into defense. We all know problem. Undersized, and made worse by injuries and lack of depth at critical run-stop positions. And yes, they gave up. Demoralized. It happens when a team runs all over you.

Disappointed with offense. Amazing how the games that Dak really needs to be blasted on this forum, he isn't. Defense is getting all the blame, but Dak didn't come out sharp either. *** happened? I can only go with what Coach Rex Ryan is saying about how he bets the team came out so hard in Philly game there was a letdown this week. He said his Jets did same thing against Pats to beat them. Better get used to life without Zack. Big man has been hurt all year, and now it's worse. He's manning up, will try, but he's at the age where only an offseason will fully heal his issues. He'll do his best and like the cliche goes - his 75% is better than most players 100%.

And on ST... Sam Williams is just a stupid player. Always has been, always will be. Great talent. But dumb player.

The offense wasn't sharp but that's mostly because they were trailing, Buffalo just played to stop the pass.

The back-to-back calls on DLaw and then Tyler Smith crippled the Cowboys' offense because it allowed Buffalo to just sit in their 2-high shell defense.

There's a point where you can't really be critical of them because it's just impossible to catch up, but they didn't come out sharp at all. I thought for sure this game was going to be a shoot out after that first series by Josh Allen. I had confidence in them. Our O will call your TD and raise you. But nada.

The defense held to a FG and the offense was within scoring range.

Refs handed the Bills 4 points and then took Dallas out of range with a bogus hold.

There is no overcoming that.

If the Bills are undersized like us why was it so much worse for us?

Answer is lack of discipline, not staying in rush lanes, playing a LB at DE to make him happy, and playing 3 safeties

These have nothing to do with talent
This is of Mccarthy and Quinn

I think the Mazi Smith 1T learning curve needs to be drastically sped up.

Can’t gift a good team on the road three 1st down penalties all leading to points when your defense made stops.

Sam should have just tackled the punter, had he just ran through him, instead of leaping he just clobbers him. I blame Bones.

Obviously they know they have limitations at LB. That’s why they tried all season to attain LB help.

This D is designed to rush the passer and get TO’s.

This next week if going to get tougher if they don’t come and play loose.

Dak has struggled against this type of scheme since that Denver loss a few years ago, it the same the 49ers run and by the way they face Vangio's defense again next week. That will be a good test. It's a defense that takes away all the big, chunk plays, you need to take what is given underneath. Might be boring, but the same attack against the Jets earlier in the yr, long chain moving drives.

Going back to this game, it was a total team loss, all three phases.

Gronk nailed it on the NBC pregame show. The Cowboys are not mentally tough. If things go well early, game on. But if they get punched in the mouth then they fold.

The injury to Martin changed the game for the offense no doubt but was it was telling that when Buffalo played dirty we didn’t step up are physicality. The Bills were trying to take Dak out. Disappointing to say the least. That miss bomb to Cook was probably because he missed practice. The timing was off.

Totally forgot Vangio was in Miami. Another reason why I chalked that game up as a probable loss. Away game, great run offense, Vangio defense. This to me is the true test.

You are right, this goes on the coaches, they weren't ready to play a full 60 minute, physical type of game.

this is a good thing. brings a lot of fans back to the simple fact, the Cowboys have not changed anything and JJ loves that. Deal with it.

Stop thinking this team will do anything different. Its a loser in football but makes the Jones money and thats how they like it. you have to come to terms with that fact.

When looked at objectively if a defender gets a free shot on a running QB you are likely to take the 15 yards penalty if you are going to smash the QB like the Bill's defender did on Prescott.

The other one when Martin needlessly gave away a 15 yard penalty - I didn't think the defender even made contact with Prescott. He pulled out of it having already dived in and for me it wasn't even a penalty.

The other one was definitely a penalty as he got a proper helmet to helmet shot on Prescott and rocked his world.
