For those disappointed with the #DallasCowboys win last night, consider that only 6 TNF winning teams scored more than Dallas did (plus Dallas did it once). Dallas also had the third largest TNF margin of victory all year, eclipsed only by the #Bills over the #Rams on opening night (21 points) and by the #Jags over #Jets on 12/22. The Bills also had a 14 point win over the #Patriots (12/1) to tie Dallas's margin of victory. Winning in the NFL is hard. Performing on a short week is hard. Never apologize for a win.

I agree, but everywhere you turn—doubt and handwringing. Of the dozens of sports shows on TV, they ALL pontificate on the failure of the Cowboys. They only won by 14! Dallas is one and done! They’re soft! Dak sucks! Zeke sucks! The defense sucks! Blah blah blah…

Yes, Tennessee was a 7-8 team missing players, but this is PROFESSIONAL football. They are still a tough, well coached team at home with nothing to lose. Dallas is STILL missing Pollard and five starters on defense, on the road on a short week, but it doesn’t seem to matter. With other teams those are reasons, but with Dallas it’s excuses. The Bengals, a respected playoff contender (who Dallas beat), only beat Tenny by 4. The mighty Chiefs (who escaped Houston in OT) beat the Titans by 3, but these “experts” only deride the Cowboys.

Double standards are SO old.

IM curious, has any team ever had 2 Thursday night games that were not back to back? We sto always play on Thanksgiving and then they would follow that up with another Thursday game the following week. But what is up with playing on Thanksgiving and then a month later playing again on Thursday? It has probably happened, but I certainly do not remember that happening before.

I can’t believe the players approved this game. It’s not fair in every way.
Their hands checks are substantially larger these days. They don't mind.

I wish they'd eliminate Thursday games and go back to 14- game schedules, but that will never happen.
