i had some corner hockey tickets and they were fantastic, but it would need to be pretty close. if i *had* to go to a live game (and i have a 56" lcd hdtv and a leather couch for reason : ) then i'd prefer something like that - depending on how high up vs. something around the 40 but pretty far up there.

stubhub.com is a good place for tickets. ebay can have a lot of scandals on it so be careful if you buy from there.

I can assure you LL corner are way less desirable to UL 40 YL IMO. I'd much rather see the whole field from high, than look at the players backs from low.

I would take upper level at the 40 as I have sat in both upper and lower corners.

On ticketmaster if you hit it the second tickets go on sale you can get decent upper level seats about 30 yard line 18 rows up.

You can also do what a friend of mine and I did last season and buy 2 single tickets individually and we ended up lower level 30 yard line but couldnt sit together lol

Thanks guys for the replies. I've been leaning towards the upper 35-40 yd line tickets. I've been to UT games in Knoxville and know Texas Stadium isn't that big so the uppers shouldn't be bad.

I contacted the Cowboys official site and they won't say when single game tix go on sale, but I think it's around July. Right now these other ticket sites or kind of high but I have plenty of time to keep looking.

BTW, the game I'm going to is Oct 21 vs. the Vikings.

I like the upper deck about the 40. Those are some fantastic seats. You need to be close tho. Don't be up in the rafters. Try to get 1 or 2nd rows around the 40.

I am going to miss the old Texas Stadium. Seen so much there.

Hey VA... its been a while!

I've had both seats and they both had their perks. But the upper level ones you get a better view of everything. The lower level ones are great when the action is towards you, but can be difficult to see whats going on when its going away from you.

The thing with Texas Stadium is, there isn't really a bad seat in the house.

As far as buying tickets, Ive always bought them from Ebay. You can find some reasonable deals.

I got some upper level 40 when they played the Rams in '05, those were the best seats I've ever had to see a give up game, I could see in great detail how unmotivated the Cowboys played that night.

And you can do multiple searches to find your tickets, but start lookin' early. That's how I got those good seats. Ebay tix a pretty expensive especially with folks bidding on them, I would go to the Cows website to get them.

I'm gonna try to catch the Packers game in late Nov. Romo vs. Favre aught to be fun and I suppose it's Brett's last game at Texas Stadium, hopefully he'll continue to be winless there. And I don't have NFLN so I'll just go up there and see it myself.

Upper level 40s is the way to go. I have upper corners, I love em. i can see everything.

It has a ton of history and still looks good on TV. But at 37 years old you know it's got to be somewhat rundown --- I guess kind of like me.

They all appear to be pretty expensive right now, unless you get upper endzones, which I'm not gonna do. I'll just keep my eyes open.

just get tickets off scalpers. You can get tickets to sections you want, paying lower than stubhub or ebay.

I think you can buy individual game tickets now or in the next week, not 100% sure but I would like to hear from somebody that did this successfully last year as well. I'm looking at buying season tickets but I know I won't be able to attend every game so I'm considering individual game tickets also, before the ticket brokers gobble em up...
