Timb2's NFL Mock Draft 1- 17-25 with Reasons for Picks

I like the Mills and Slater picks, Mills might end up going a lot higher. I have been watching more of his film, and he might make his way into the 3/4 round range. Right now everyone has Howard Cross lll(his teammate) rated higher. That is just not the case. Slater eats glass for breakfast, tough kid.

Hallman is going back to Wisconsin for his 5th season and I am not sure about Gentry Williams. He was injured a lot this year and he may go back to school. I haven't heard anything definitive on Gentry yet; good instinctive player though.

Thanks for not going QB early. It's nice to mix it up. The point to all of these different mocks is to run scenarios.
It's easy to fall into conformity and go with what has been forecast of late.

Getting people talking really does make waves in this sphere. Even though Jerry talks down to us fans, like we aren't so called Football People; like we don't know the game. Word of mouth and antics, ripple all the way up to their Yachts. He should know, he stirs the pot more than anybody.

Terrible. Pretty much every pick for the Cowboys a hate. ESPECIALLY Harmon. He can be had in the 2nd, possibly 3rd. Most people don't have him as a top 5 dt.

If Harmon runs under 5.0 forty , he's going to move up boards and his film shows he's fast for a big man. He's strong and he reminds me of Ndamukong Suh . He can dominate at times and has a high ceiling vs a guy like Mason Graham who looks maxxed out and not getting any bigger. Harmon is 310- 315 lbs and looks like you could put 25 lbs on him and not affect his quickness.

I’m not sure why Jacks would reach that badly for Jeanty at 5 with a 1200 yard rusher waiting to happen in Tank Bigsby patiently waiting behind Etienne but can we work out a trade for him if they do?

Etienne & Bigsby , neither ran for 1000 yards. They are average not a star potential that Ashton Jeanty has. Also think marketing, fans in the seats.

Reason- We have to find a Runningback who can compliment Rico Dowdle. Giddens could be the player who could help in the running game.Giddens is 6'-1",212 lbs. He's big enough to take on a blitz which Deuce Vaughn would get destroyed.

This draft would suck.

Etienne & Bigsby , neither ran for 1000 yards. They are average not a star potential that Ashton Jeanty has. Also think marketing, fans in the seats.

Bigsby ran for 766 on only 168 carries at a 4.6 ypc. You give him 15-18 carries a game, instead of trying to force the ball to Etienne to justify his draft status and Bigsby is easily a 1200-1400 yard rusher. Even his college numbers were impressive and he did it in the SEC!

Regardless, 5 overall is a huge reach for any RB in today’s game, more so one as undersized as Jeanty!

Hmmm… I haven’t noticed too many knowledgeable people want to take Jeanty or any other RB in the 1st round much less in this year’s RB heavy class and I’d guess most would throw fit at the prospect of taking him at 5.
If Bigsby was available option at our 2nd or 3rd round pick I’m guessing most would be thrilled with a bowling ball who runs a 4.45!
