1ST ROUND

1- Jaguars- Ikem Ekwonu OG NC State

Reason- Jags have been very quiet so far on this pick, but I kept thinking. You have to protect the franchise and Ikem is the Best o- linemen in this draft. Jags can't mess this pick up and they don't.

2- Lions- Aidan Hutchinson DE Michigan

Reason- A franchise that is on life support. They definitely need a leader, a face of the franchise,a player to draw in fan interest. Take home state hero Hutchinson to become the savior.

3- Texans- Kayvon Thibodeaux DE Oregon

Reason- Texans in the last 2 years lost their best pass rushers in Watt & Merciless. Grab Thibodeaux to improve a once feared Texans defense.

4- Jets- Evan Neal OT Alabama

Reason- Jets are similar to the Jag's situation. A young franchise signal caller you need to protect him. With Evan Neal not willing to run the forty drops him and makes him a RT candidate. That is actually where Neal will play on the RT spot here for the Jets.

5- Giants- Jordan Davis NT Georgia

Reason- Giants need to make a impact here. Something big for the BIG Apple. The plan of Davis lined up to Dexter Lawrence makes the Giants run lanes more clogged than traffic lanes to get to NYC.

6- Panthers- Leo Chenal MLB Wisconsin

Reason- Panthers really haven't gotten over emotional leader Luke Kuechley's retirement. Chenal is a very similar player. The guy constantly makes plays and you have to know where he is at all times.

7- Giants- Tyler Linderbaum C Iowa.

Reason- Giants know the interior o line is weak and it starts with the o line signal caller. Linderbaum can fix this, smart ,aggressive, and a leader.

8- Falcons- Malik Willis QB Liberty

Reason- Fond memories of Michael Vick making exciting plays is driving this pick. Willis has a lot of Vick's physical traits. Falcons need a exciting player for this franchise and fans to rally behind.

9- Seahawks- Amare Barno OLB/ DE Virginia Tech.

Reason- Barno? What? Hear me out, the Seahawks constantly go off script and against the grain. Remember Bruce Irvin being a 1st round pick by them? Everyone rated Irvin a 3rd round player yet they grabbed him in the 1st. Same with other players like Rashad Penny. Now what do the Seahawks need? The Leo position has Darrell Taylor former Eagles 6th round pick slotted as the starter. You have Barno who has freakish ability 4.36 forty. That is faster than Micah Parsons. Hawks do things different and pick who they want, Amare Barno at 9.

10- Jets- Jermaine Johnson DE Florida State

Reason- Jets don't overthink this. You need a pass rusher. Johnson starts Day 1 and becomes your best pass rusher. Play it smart Jets.

11- Commanders- Trevor Penning OT Northern Iowa.

Reason- Commanders lost their best o lineman Schreff to free agency. A once proud o line " The Hogs" now look like " The Castoffs". They need to get big, mean, and nasty. One certain player fits that perfectly. Penning becomes the new LT taking over for jebrone Charles Leno.

12- Vikings- Chad Muma ILB Wyoming

Reason- Vikings have two guys playing ILB who have bounced around the league( Hicks & Kendricks) Neither is going to standout, but grabbing the FBS leading tackler Muma could make Minnesota more respectable vs the run.

13-Texans- Alec Pierce WR Cincinnati

Reason- Texans are shopping their best WR Brandin Cooks around. So most likely Davis Mills will get a new toy to play with, but which one? Drake London & Jameson Williams are hurt. Both Buckeyes are fast but not even 200 lbs. Then you have 6ft-3,215 lbs Alec Pierce who ran a 4.33 forty at the combine. Grab the healthy WR who also has prototype NFL size.

14- Ravens- Christian Harris ILB Alabama

Reason- Ravens love a dominant defense. They love big, bully ,physical, and mean players. That's Harris in a nutshell. He brings that attitude ,that passion, that anger to the position.

15- Eagles- Ahmad Gardner CB Cincinnati

Reason- Philly is in shock to see all the top DB's are still on the board and don't waste a moment to bring the card to the Commissioner within minutes.

16- Saints- Devonte Wyatt DT Georgia

Reason- Wyatt is too talented to let slip by. Wyatt brings a inside presence on the d- line .While Cam Jordan & Michael Davenport bring the heat off the edge. Making of a very good d- line.

17- Chargers- Drake London WR USC

Reason- Chargers need to get a starting partner for Mike Williams. Chargers seem to love tall WRs. London is perfect, bonus being a USC kid will have the support of the fans.

18- Eagles- Boye Mafe DE Minnesota

Reason- Eagles need edge rushers and I hate this pick, but Mafe is a good fit and cause havoc for opponents constantly being in the backfield with his speed

19- Saints- Charles Cross OT Mississippi State

Reason- Terron Armstead is no longer there as a security blanket on the blindside. Better get one if they expect Winston to stay upright.

20- Steelers- Derek Stingley CB LSU

Reason- Great pickup here. Stingley becomes the talented corner the Steelers have needed for awhile.

21- Patriots- Kyle Hamilton S Notre Dame

Reason- Belechik looks like a genius again when all he does is take the BPA. Hamilton slow forty cost him,but he could have been sandbagging to get to a better team.

22- Packers- Garrett Wilson WR Ohio State

Reason- Packers have got to get Rodgers some talent around him . Wilson is ideal.

23- Cardinals- Kaiir Elam CB Florida

Reason- Penciled in as a starter is former Viking Jeff Gladney. I don't see him starting for long.

24-Cowboys- Devin Lloyd OLB Utah

Reason- Cowboys just like year get a gift fall right into their lap. Lloyd & Parsons will causes nightmares for opponents.

25- Bills- Zion Johnson OG Boston College

Reason- Bills need to improve their o line with a blue chip stud. Zion Johnson is a instant starter.

26- Titans-Chris Olave WR Ohio State

Reason- Titans lack a homerun threat. Olave easily changes that. Keeps defenses to stop just crowding the line to stop star RB Henry

27- Buccaneers-Perrion Winfrey DE Oklahoma

Reason- Suh is no longer here. The Bucs need playmakers in the trenches too. Winfrey can be a disruptive force.

28- Packers-Troy Anderson ILB Montana State

Reason- What? Who? This was the fastest LBer at the combine running 4.42. Huge almost 250 lbs. Remember Brian Urlacher was a small school stud running 4.4s also at 250 lbs. Anderson is a Mr. Do Everything. He is a valuable player. LB,DE,TE,RB,QB etc.

29- Chiefs-Travon Walker DE Georgia

Reason- Bookends with Frank Clark to give the Chiefs a balanced d- line

30- Chiefs- Tariq Woolen CB UTSA

Reason- Another freak of nature 6ft-4 and ran a 4.2 forty at the combine. A former WR still learning CB. Someone is going to fall in love with him

31- Bengals- Channing Tindall OLB Georgia

Reason- Lightning quick LBer. Other Bulldogs got press clippings, but Tindall made plays sideline to sideline.

32- Lions- Jameson Williams WR Alabama

Reason- Lions desperate for receivers. Williams was the #1 WR before the injury. A gamble but could payoff big time.

I love me some LB’s! People act like we’re fine here when we are not.

Having said that I’m fine with he or Dean.

I always enjoy your draft threads, and though I can't see guys like Chenal and Barno sniffing the first-round, let alone the top-10, one or two of those surprises always happens and I like how you think outside the box. What I really like about this particular draft is Lloyd at #24. He and Parsons side-by-side for 10 years sounds like a ton of fun to me. Lloyd isn't the freak athlete Parsons is but he's an instinctive, long, full-sized playmaker at the linebacker position. His senior year he had 111 tackles, 22 TFL, seven sacks, one FF and one fumble recovered, six PD and FOUR INTs. And that's no fluke. As a soph he went for 91/11/6.5/0/0/2/1. In the five games of his covid-shortened junior year: 48, 10, two and a FF. Sign me up for that. Screw the 40-time. Sean Lee was 6'2", coming off an ACL injury and ran a 4.74. Get me a playmaker at #24. We can get a starting guard later.

His mock drafts are never remotely realistic. It seems odd to put in the work to post all of those links on a mock that is just silly.
6- Panthers- Leo Chenal MLB Wisconsin
9- Seahawks- Amare Barno OLB/ DE Virginia Tech.
12- Vikings- Chad Muma ILB Wyoming
13-Texans- Alec Pierce WR Cincinnati

2ND ROUND

33- Jaguars- Dax Hill S Michigan

Reason- Hill starts immediately at FS over Andrew Wingard.

34- Lions-Desmond Ridder QB Cincinnati

Reason- When your teammates call you out last year for no heart and you( Jared Goff) stay pretty silent. Your days are numbered as a starter.

35- Jets- Tariq Castro- Fields CB Penn State

Reason- Jets need to improve in almost every area. Here is a corner upgrade. Castro- Fields starts as a rookie opposite Bryce Hall's corner spot.

36- Giants- Tre McBride TE Colorado State

Reason- Ricky Seals- Jones is now penciled in as the starting TE. Not for long.

37- Texans-Nakobe Dean OLB Georgia

Reason- Texans like small LBers. Dean has found his home.

38- Jets- Kenny Walker RB Michigan State

Reason- Jets help Zac Wilson by getting him a solid RB to work with.

39- Bears- Treylon Burks WR Arkansas

Reason- Allen Robinson wants out and Bears do not have much at WR

40- Seahawks- Cam Jurgens C Nebraska

Reason- Upgrade over Austin Blythe at Center.

41- Bernhard Rainmann OT Central Michigan

Reason- Better insurance as the blindside protector. Would let the heavy footed Stone Forsythe slide to RT.

42- Colts- Kellen Dietsch OT Arizona State

Reason- Right now Matt Pryor is slotted to be the starting Left Tackle for the Colts. The guy was in the Eagles camp a year ago. Better get a LT for any success.

43- Falcons- George Pickens WR Georgia

Reason- Falcons desperately need help at WR. None of their current starters would start on majority of NFL teams.

44- Browns- Jahan Dotson WR Penn State

Reason- Browns need help at WR and give Watson a homerun threat.

45-Ravens- Travis Jones NT Connecticut

Reason- Ravens defensive line is getting long in the tooth. Need a infusion of youth.

46- Vikings- DeMarvin Leal DE Texas A& M

Reasons- Vikes want to switch to the 3- 4 defense. They need to draft the right types who can fit this scheme

47- Commanders-Jaylin Armour- Davis CB Alabama

Reason- William Jackson was a disappointment as a Free Agent signee. Work through the draft for a better result.

48- Bears-George Karlaftis OLB Purdue

Reason- Bears traded away Khalil Mack and the other OLB pass rusher starter is Robert Quinn who is over 30. Grab Karlaftis to bring the heat.

49- Saints- Jelani Woods TE Virginia

Reason-TE position could need a upgrade. Woods is a matchup nightmare and would start by the end of his rookie season.

50- Chiefs- Breece Hall RB Iowa State

Reason- Hall can help a explosive offense even be better.

51- Eagles- Quay Walker MLB Georgia

lReason- Eagles neglected LB enough and luckily for them Quay Walker is there to help.

52- Steelers- Sam Williams OLB Mississippi

Reason- Steelers are obsessed with getting at the QB. Watt is All- Pro but his partner Alex Highsmith is hot n Cold. Bring in Sam Williams with his 4.46 speed to increase the sack total
