I know this news is horrible, but expected, much like our F.O...
We drafted Tyler for a reason. Tyron hasn't played a full season since 2015. Thank you Tyron for all, but lets put this availability problem behind us and kick the tires on the new generation T.Smith. There will most certainly be growing pains but who knows, draft picks we dislike on draft night have an interesting way of panning out ;)

Exactly. It has been headed to this for quite a while. We had hoped he would be able to go out on his terms but it didn't work out that way. IMO this should close the book on his career. We drafted to replace him. The timeline has just been accelerated.

Come back next April and we'll look for one in the draft. Bye Felicia.

I know many here will hate the idea but there's simply no way I do not get on the phone with either Eric Fisher or Jason Peters right now to get a veteran with starter experience in here.

We may have no other choice as our front office's inability to sign any veteran help in the off season attest.

Smith is the oldest 31 year-old in the league. Hard to believe he was drafted 11 years ago.

A bit premature perhaps, but never too early to start looking at OT draft prospects next April. This team is quite used to having guys fill in for Tyron.

Personally, I hope Tyron realizes none of this is worth it anymore and retires, which will FORCE Jerry to actually be a GM.

I don't think it's premature. The guy is injury prone.
