Let me clarify, I’m serious. Jerry Rice ran a 4.6.I can’t tell if this is serious or sarcasm…..
I don't understand you fans who want to get rid of a player who has been one of the top return men in the NFL since we got him. We can keep Brown without trading Turpin.Has Camden Brown made the 53? That seems slightly debatable, but if you ask yourself a different question, you realize that Camden Brown has certainly made the 53.
He will most definitely NOT clear waivers if he is released. Right?? So, in a way, Camden Brown would not cause any concerns if he replaced Turpin on the WR depth chart. The next logical thought is.. does Turpin have trade value? If trading Turpin lowered the cost on getting a hard-to-find offensive tackle. If Steele has dropped off as the preseason wears on, I think the Cowboys would strongly consider an upgrade at OT.
What do you think?
I think it will be five to six. Lamb, Pickens, Flournoy, Turpin and Brown (if he keeps playing like he did) and possibly Anthony Smith or Jonathan Mingo. If neither Smith nor Mingo stands out this preseason, we might end the Mingo experiment and put Smith on the PS.Who would we cut him for? Career spares like MVS or Mingo?
Surely people don't think we're only keeping 4 WRs?
You know the off season sucks enough. Now this?Time to trade Turpin
No reason to swear. But you are right it did.Could swear this just happened in another thread.
He's extremely talented WR/KRTurpin is one dimensional but I don’t see the team trading him, it’s more likely we are keeping 6 receivers
This is getting silly now. Turpin is your kick returner. Camden is a receiver who’s probably battling Mingo. If you want to replace Turpin find someone as good or better. I haven’t seen it.Has Camden Brown made the 53? That seems slightly debatable, but if you ask yourself a different question, you realize that Camden Brown has certainly made the 53.

I thought so too until I didn’t see my post.Could swear this just happened in another thread.
Eh I don’t see it as a wide receiver, but dangerous as a returner. If we can’t block anyways on special teams then maybe the team trades him, can’t really use him if we can’t blockHe's extremely talented WR/KR
I've never understood the TurpHate on here.
But after the Micah deal, you never know with Jerry.
It will have more to do with MingoBrown making or not making the roster has nothing to do with Turpin
Jerry rice was also a 1st round draft pick.Let me clarify, I’m serious. Jerry Rice ran a 4.6.
To be fare we could probably get a seventh round pick for him. that still doesn't fix the return Man problem.Trade him and get what in return? Nothing so we might as well keep him for returns.
Mingo will stay as well, good on special teams and no guaranteed money leftAs much as I love Camden Brown. Nobody currently on the team replaces what Turp brings in the return game. I would keep Brown over Mingo. We can keep Brown and Turp.
WR's:
Lamb, Pickens, Flournoy, Turp and Brown. That is 5 WR's. Smith the rookie we drafted in the 7th round has a better chance of making it to PS right now. Though Smith is about the same size and faster than Brown. They both might be battling for the last WR spot (barring injury). Right now Brown is up. But there is still more time to Smith to show what he has to offer.
